I had same problem. Happen on Grenth event for me. Loud flatlining sound would start and then it would eventually crash out.

Above solution appears to work. Just did Grenth with no problems. So thank you for that.

Guess its because I’m not using a dedicated sound card so my current setup gets overloaded and brainmelts due to too much info flying around. Not GW2 fault but user hardware issue.

Happened today too, on Gunnar’s Hold. And it’s even more frustrating, because the Pact group stopped right before the waypoint!

They are still there.

I was there yesterday and it was frustrating. Sometimes they would walk up the steps… and.. walk back down. Definitely felt like trolling to me!

Edit: Just tried again. Is it really a bug or us the players not really doing it right. Looking at this post is what caused me to wonder if it is a bug.

Event fails if morale falls to zero. Maybe they don’t go up final flight of stairs because morale is not full. Perhaps morale is supplied by bringing up another group to top up the morale. When enough morale is there something is triggered.

Only done this a couple of times. Maybe I’m completely wrong on this (if I’m not, I can picture the devs having a bit of a laugh with everyone blaming the difficult stuff on bugs). But, wouldn’t it be too easy otherwise. There would be no feeling of achievement if everything was handed to us on a plate.

Just the opposite for me. Game is ruining my life. Lost my job. Wife has left. Home gone. I now live in my friends shed playing GW2 24/7 snacking on pot noodles and drinking tea out of an old can of dog food.

Just kidding. Am enjoying GW2 lot. Cannot stand the elitism of WoW. Different strokes for different folks. Variety is the spice of life and all that.

Loving it too. I have a life so haven’t got to 80 yet. Bugs me that those who wear their 80’s as a badge of honour and get on their high horses saying game over for them. Game has barely been out for a month. There’s years of updates to come.
