Two best FT-centric examples I can think of are nakoda’s FT/Rifle PvP control build, and Phineas Poe’s overall PvE examination of FT/EG. While traits have shifted around a bit, the principles of each ought to remain the same. I don’t have links handy, but if you can find their posts (and they are frequent posters) they have links to their respective essays in the signature line.

Huh, I’ve always wanted to level an engineer using both FT and EG. or whatever brings the most support to the party, not only DPS (Yeah I love supporting in MMO).
Any build ideas? Is that viable in both PvE and WvW?

About yesterday’s patch… Is it a good option to use focus instead of dagger for PvP now?

I’ll just give you fast answers, sense you can find all the info on the forum anyway.

1: no, you can do the following to acquire a base for your legendary, 1. buy it from tp , 2. get it dropped for you (smaaaaal chance) 3. turn in 4 rare / exotic in lvl 70+ , ( the higher level and rarity the greater the chance is to get it)

2: i think the gifts are soul bound if i’m not mistaken. otherwise there is nothing stopping you, but i’m 99,9% sure they are account bound. or even soul bond.

3: they are account bound, so you con have more than 2 /char. but you cant have more then ( [amount of 100% completion charachters] * 2 ) legendarys

4: they are the same. all legendary share the same stats types.(power vit tough if i’m not mistaken)

basicly, all the info is true at this point, the only thing the wiki don’t know is droprates, and all the forge recipes.

Are you sure about the lv 70+ rares/exotics? Someone told me you need lv 75 ones at least :S

Huh… Do you guys know the minimum lv required to get a lv 75 exotic from 4 lower lv exotics? lv 70 always give me 78-80.
