This is why I always hope game have some sort of subscription model. All Arenanet is doing is create more skins, finishers and other crap for the cashshop. I dont want another fuzzy hat, bunny ears, lama finisher… I want to see a new expansion and new zones to explore.

But there is not room to create those because they need to create items for the cashshop to stay healthy on the cashflow.

You’re aware that the people who create the framework for the content (game designers, gameplay programmers ect) aren’t the people who create cash-shop stuff (modellers and animators)?

Playable content teams and gem-store teams are seperate.

Thats great, the fact is that after 1,5 year Guild Wars 2 has had no expansion or any big content patch. Sure the living stories are fun for about a week but why do we not get something more then the same old stuff with some news quests ?

I doubt the two teams are equally divided, it seems Arenanet is more busy making cashshop content then to create new zones (yes more then 1) for use to adventure through.

Good thing I can spend my time in ESO at the moment, it has bugs and stuff missing but atleast the patches are flying around on a weekly base and new content is coming after just one month.

''ArenaNet need to inform the players''

I agree.

Why ? Because at the end of this month some new big MMO will launch. I dont want to see Guild Wars 2 turn into a desolated game because people are not informed about upcoming content.

And I do hope Arenanet will release some information where there are heading before the release of the said MMO so that we know that Guild Wars 2 will expand further then just a few living stories.

From a marketing point of view giving information regarding an expansion at the time of the launch of the said MMO is ofcourse the best way to keep the playerbase healthy.

So I keep my fingers crossed

I was lucky this weekend or well in fact my girlfriend. I been using the MF for a few months mainly when the MF daily is present I just buy 20 rare weapons and throw them in. Never been very lucky mostly got rares back and a few exotics.

My GF plays very casual but needed a daily so I told her here you have 10G buy some rares and see what happens. I noticed she got 4 exotics out of the 5 tries. I remember there was a rumor or myth some accounts have more luck then others (I still doubt it).

I have been trying to save to get Bifrost for my Necro eventually. But seeing it was going fine but not fast I made the decision to send all my gold (145G) to my GF and let her buy all rare staffs and go to the MF. She got 200 rare staffs for that G. I figured lets try if it fails I stop hunting the Bifrost.

She was lucky, very lucky. After a few tries with random exotics dropping out of the MF she got The Legend. I was like omg now i really need to go for Bifrost. She still had about 140 staffs left. I was already happy so she kept on going just for the fun. And after a while another the Legend dropped!

So now I have one the Legend in the bank and sold one to get me on my way to the mats for the Gifts. Going for The Bifrost for sure now.

PS we tried again later that evening and spend another 100g on Greatswords but no luck so we stopped trying and farm the rest of it the longer way.
