I’ve had a bad experience with support when I lost my number and couldn’t receive the SMS authentication to login my account on BOTH website and game client. This traumatic experience revealed several flaws on your system to me.
First of all it makes no sense that you simply use the same login and password to both login on client and to manage your account on website. I dont even follow forums but i can guess so many problems that would cause: in case you are hacked, they’d have to all your account and even access to your serial code; you can’t use website as an alternative option in case you lose access to game login; it makes you totally depending on gm support to solve your problems and through anonymous tickets… so, there should be separate login systems to game and account management.
Second point: my first ticket wasn’t replied was answered in 4 days, so of course I submitted a new one before the answer. And guess what? The second ticked was answered before the first one. Besides some messy queue for answers and solving problems, which I won’t even discuss, I was really mad that I couldn’t solve the problem myself. If you don’t have the manpower to solve simple login issues like that, you shouldn’t make us to depend on it. If you can receive the SMS there’s no alternative option at all to recover your access. There could be confirmation link sent to email, for instance, just like any other services!
Now I feel like should secure my account (and I keep being spammed about it) but it’s more likely that I’ll have such a headache again with SMS/app than that I’d be hacked. So I have a couple of questions regarding this in order to make up my mind: can I have both app and SMS and use one or another, for instance if I can’t receive SMS I use app. Can I install app in more than one device, such as phone and tablet, to assure I’ll have a backup?
