Well after this weekend of playing Holosmith almost non stop I wanted to make a video highlighting what I thought was great about this elite spec, and what I would like to see with it. Ahahahaha, love it! Well my head might be up my kitten but at least I’m not dragging down every fractal group in T4 with kitten poor dps. I’ve noticed only the 3k DPS club boys cry about elitism and how content is hard ect, ect, ect.

Hi guys! Just started playing bow this past week, and I’m not sure why I didn’t jump on it sooner. Swapped off my greatsword and I am in love with bow mechanics lol! Anyways let me know what you guys think, I’m open to tips and tricks.

Thief is a hard fight but you can burst them as easy as they can burst you. Plus side is you have reveals. So you can really ruin their day if you play it right. Guardians take a while. Lots of blocks and stuff. Usually have to kite them out a lot. Your pew pew hits hard you and you have a projectile reflect for their bow if they use one. Still won’t be easy. But it’s possible to win. Warrior is actually not too bad. After shield and endure pain you can really tear into them. Just kite a bit when the berserk mode since most run eternal champion and makes them impossible to cc. If you run elixir x instead of sneak gyro. Guardian and warrior become very easy since you can just moa when you want to burst. This build still has several weaknesses but it can overcome some of them with a well timed burst. Far from being meta though. More of a fun build if anything.

Right now I am interested in hammer. Actually I am just practicing engineer atm, and using it on PvE. I don’t know if it’s me or what, but engie seems like high effort, low reward, compared to what ele or ranger can do a lot easier. It’s really weird to play this class, but maybe I need to master it a little bit first to make conclusions…

Well you are right about the high effort part, but if you are looking for a hammer build that’s best suited for PvP or WvW, if you are looking for PvE the main two builds run vanilla engineer with P/P or Rifle

Haha! Yeah this is the first rifle build in a long time I have fallen in love with! And I will come back to mag when it’s not T1!!!

Running a bit of everything. Really like this rifle build, gonna do some more tweaks, but if we get that blunderbuss buff in all game modes this could be a nice roaming build.

P/P has always been fun no matter the variant. Running Trailblazers at the moment as a Burngineer. Stay away from Perplexity.

I only call it cancer in my description out of more than a self awareness than a total disdain for condi. With the old P/S condi engie you had a lot more thought and skill into getting your burst off. I just feel P/P not as much that, but I don’t hate it for not being that either. It’s different and I can respect that, albeit I don’t feel I need to work as hard to get the combo off most of the time.

Black-white colours made it hard to see anything. Also, ‘moving screen’ effect is disorienting as hell.

Was going for an artistic touch, but have been getting lots of complaints about it so might never do a video like that again.

As far as my build I run trail blazer armor and weapons with all rabid trinkets just to insure some on crit condi procs. Sigils are geomancy and doom/blight/corruption I swap that out sometimes.

I’ve been running rabid p/p all gyro scrapper since HoT release and its still decent but with Anet intent of killing off gyros due to purity of purpose a core build is looking more interesting by the day. Maybe thats what they meant?

I meant to P/P in general. I play variants of it depending what’s out on the BL any given day. Just seeing if any other engineers have been enjoying it/what their build variants are.

Hey fellow engineers. Ever since the balance patch I’ve been moving away from rifle a bit (until it gets a little something extra) and trying out P/P a lot more. I made a video of some of the bursts I got while roaming.

If you wear the t2 light armor shoulder pads are no longer visible? Can we get an explanation/fix. Even the t2 shoulder pads don’t show up/or any shoulder pads.

Thank you for making this thread. This game has had a great community that helps each other, but this event is making this game more like the WoW community, I know it’s hard guys but come on no need to rage at someone for playing what they like to play.
