Hello everyone,

i was thinking about buying for the first time gw1 and its expansions (in my country GS selling the boxed version for about 1-2 euros) but, before doing so, i would like to know if today you are still able to link them to an existent gw2 account.

Should this be possible, how to do that? i have to create gw1 account and then link it or i can use my gw2 account from the beginning?)

Hello dear Arenanet,
I would like to report super lag happening during the evening in central Europe ( Starting right now and lasting for 3-4 hours).
Seems like my problem is common to all our friends here, and i remember such a situation already manifested itself during the first year of the game.
Last time, even if you rightfully suggested to contact our internet provider, the final solution was up to you ( and it took nearly 1 month).

I hope that i will be able to play again, and i hope that you will be able to communicate with us as fast as you can regarding this issue.

Suggestion :
Take out all the boosts ( armor, regeneration, strenght, speed) and similar items ( revive orb, repair canister) sold on gemstore as singular items and create a new tab similar to the finisher tab in Heroes panel, where you can easily select a boost ( or utility such as revive orb) and use it! ( and if you have zero left, could send you to the gemstore page)

Why :
Players-side : it makes easier to use all of your boosts ( i know, everyone just leave them in the bank tab at LA and never bring them in dungeon!)
Game-side : it promotes the usage and of said items, with a boost on their sales

What I would like :
Discuss between us fellow players, and with devs if they are interested!

Edit : This system could also be applied to special gemstore items such as Royal Pass and Airship Pass. And if you want also to special items found in BL chests such as infinite merchant /Bank/tp

They comunicated one solution and adopted another, leaving a lot of people without their rewards. Would be nice to see fellow players helping each others, but anyway i am sure Anet will solve the problem

I’d also be happy if i could just vendor those things for something like 1s each ( like the kiel/evon votes), should re- enabling chests be too hard codewise

Would like to say that me, my gf and a good portion of my guild have been negatively hit by this situation, as we read the previous topic ( already posted here) made by an user who wanted to know the date his " Keys" expired and was reassured that during the LA escape update he would have been able to use them.

I am positive that Anet policy is to help loyal customers who played a lot of hours for their rewards to achieve what they earned, to keep faith to what they previously said, and that the first dev/moderator who realize what happened will make sure everything will be ok.

I know the fix will take time , but i kindly ask to hear an official word regarding this issue, just to say that we have not been trolled and can play without feeling betrayed.

I hope that :
1) Rewards are WvW strictly ( sieges,badges, liquid wxp, commander icon etc)
2) Devs are aware of what happened last time they encouraged server transfer : SFR became unplayable , half of the guild left it and as far as i know don’t even play the game anymore, and the server, even with 4 hours queue in the morning, managed to lose for 6 weeks straight against opponents withless than half our numbers.

Most of all i think it’s important that having new players join wvw ( good) will not became a burden for all the wvw community if not nicely organized from the devs, and some reassurances about this would be greatly appreciated

i am really excited about the pve releases ( love SAB!) and was wondering if there were any news on this patch for wvw!
I am sure everyone saw the sneak peaks during the last streaming from the devs, and those big news ( redesigned maps etc) are surely coming later on, but maybe we can have some smaller changes during this event
For example new materials from bags, something like quartz crystals during latest releases or the liquid wxp available at merchant ( a dev said it was coming!)

The original SAB achievement list will return, along with a new, separate achievement list for world 2.

There may even be a new special surprise for folks who finished the original list of achievements (which will also be available for folks who finish the original list while it is available)…

We did it! It took us 100 mins, pls 30 min preparation
We never struggled at any battle ( hardly any downed) and only wiped once at the hard mobs at last Grenth’s trap

Dwayna bugged for 4-5 times, then finally she decided not to stealth after 5 seconds and we destroyed her!

I am forming a group for doing arah 4.
It will be composed of people looking for the final dungeon of their dungeon master career, but every one else who already did it and is willing to help, is nicely appreciated.

General :
- Only the class i’ll list below, with those builds
- Only experienced players, since i can’t judge someone from it’s name, 3k achievements minimum.
- Need to have completed path 1-2-3, this is needed in order to be able to run skip zones, kill lupicus and some other small things
- Need to buy the foods i will suggest : Bowl of Curry Butternut Squash Soup and Powerful Potion of Undead Slaying all time up

Group composition:
3 Berserk Warriors : greatsword warhorn ( for skipping)rifle ( ranged)
Everyone with a different banner ( Discipline, Strenght, and one between tactics and defense) ; for great justice.
For the running part a more defensive approach, something like balanced stance and endure pain.

1 Dps Mesmer : Greatsword + Sword /focus.
Skills : Blink, Signet of Ispiration ; Feedback; TW.
It’s necessary to be able to pull enemies and bosses. If u don’t wanna watch the video i’ll tell which bosses need to be pulled where, but for normal mobs we need you to dothis on your own, to help us group them and dps them down.

1 Defensive guardian : Hammer ; scepter
We need a protection / regen/stability build, with skills such as hold the line, and spamming the 1 hammer attack.
Must be good in using wall of reflection, as it’s a fundamental skills in this fight.

Final Note :
- It’s going to be a long dungeon, so patience, concentration and politeness are our friends
- As long everyone meets those requisites, there will be no kick , offences or any other thing, even in case of multiple mistakes.
- I’ll host the room, to avoid problems such as " lunch is ready ; mom is aggroing ; etc etc"
- One of the final bosses may glitch, rendering all our effort useless ( Dwayna)

I am a ranger/necro/ele/eng/thief why i can’t join? Are you an elitist?
No i am not, i would really like to meet and play with you in the future, feel free to add me to my playlist. For this particular path though we need this setup

I am not really good, have not experience, not full exotic armor, never done the other arah paths, but maybe i can blend in and join?
You probably can, but this dungeon can last 4-6 hours if even one of the group is not optimal, so you are hurting yourself.

I have the profession needed, but i have a different build, is it smart not to tell you and join anyway?

No, i will not allow any non reasonable kicking ( aka afk for too much time, not listenint at all, etc), and i will leave the dungeon and close it for everyone if this happen

Gaile Gray can i just ask a question, which if answered could really make me and many others relax.

The question is : If I (we) have attended the final event, played it for many hours, and crashed at the end of it ( in my case i died , tried do rez trough a wp but infinite loading and then could’nt log in back), am i qualified to get the chest?

I am not asking " Can i have a chest", cause i may be a liar, i may already have got 10 of them, everything you want.

I just ask if actually playing the event count for get the chest, doesn’t matter if today, tomorrow or if in 1 month.
I just ask to know if you value that for giving the chest and we can count that things will be fixed up.

Gaile Gray i don’t know what’s going on, but you are giving chests to those who sould not get them, and many of those who should get them are not getting them.

I’ll suggest to just look at those online in that time frame, those who got the gold medal for completing the mid-quests ( ex. repel the reinforcements, escort lionguard demolists), or just give 1 chest per account.
Because this is humiliating and frustating.

For the record : i attended the event ( and i dare any devs to check this up individually for me, and ban me if it is not true) till the end when i got dced, and i want ONE chest.

Support is not supporting anyone, and keep saying me that i have not meet the requirements, when the requirements are probabily something like : let’s take 50% of the account in the whole game and give them the chest.

Sky.9347 you know nothing about me, and i won’t allow you to call me a liar.

I am in no way lucky in this entire story, and no one who is experiencing this bad joke is surely no enjoying the game.

At this time, we have finished delivering the rewards for the Lost Shores event to all accounts that qualified. If you have not received the reward, please make sure that your in-game mail is not full. If you are able to receive mail but have still not received the reward, it is because our records indicate that you did not meet the requirements to receive these items.

Yes i have more questions

1) Could you read what i write in my previous messages instead of giving pre-written answers?
2) The requirements or the system are faulty, because not only me but many other people who partecipated in the event did not receive the reward, is ArenaNet just going to decline every problem , giving even more chests to those who already got one and no one to those who attended the event but never got one because of server side problems?
3) Are you aware that this kind of attitude is being offensive towards me , your playerbase and our patience and loyalty

I think that my ticket quotes says it all, but i am adding that i am really sad seeing how the whole thing was handled.
20 days and those who got the chest or did not attend the event got another chest, while me ( after many hours of playing) got nothing but a pre-written form which says nothing , not even a " sorry".
I am being answered like a beggar, but i am not.

This is not about meeting requirements, this is about do the right thing, which is care about us, the playerbase, who attended the event, died at the end, infinite loading, couldn’t log black, found another overflow to play, bugged halfway, waited for 20 days, etc.
I know, this is the same story many of us share.

The most humiliating thing about all this story is to read : " You have not meet the requirements",go away.

I have been faithfully waited for many days because of the lags, disconnections etc, and this is how i am repayed?
Not even an : " Ops we may have made some errors, everyone who played the event will get their reward."
That would not have been my preferite answer after all this time.
But at least better then that robotic answer i got.

Can we please get at least 1 chest, and get some nice support ( an announcement, something), and i have an answer, or is this the end of the story?
I have been slapped once at the time of the event, now i am getting double slapped.

Can we have any news about what you are doing?
I mean i can wait a week, a month for my reward, but can you tell us what you have in mind? It’s not top secret , and it could help people calm down

I think the most fair thing is to give us the same chest with the same loot table ( give us for free, make us kill the boss again, everything) the others got.

I sincerly hope you don’t want to give us something like 2 greens, or some bad equips and say " that’s the same chest trollface " or even worse some PR answer such as " we are really sorry we’ll make sure next event will have wonderful surprises etc"

I Want to share my experience :
Playing the event for 3+ hours, than at 2nd reinforcements wave i tried to teleport to nearby WP, because we all died.
Crashed ( due to extreme lag), couldn’t login back for 15 minutes ( server problem, cause all my friend had this too).

Couldn’t find a chest.

Got back on another server, tried to play the event again.
The event BUGGED ( yep, the lionguard stucked there).

After 6+ hours of playing, no rewards, and saw a lot of rare items linked all over the guild chat.

Also in my overflow there was ad Arenanet Employee : Noxx, who said she was working hard.
(If you remember me, i am the naked guy who was trying to get info, i am sure you do)

And she saw the crashes, she saw the bugs ecc.
She also crashed herself.

Concluding : I am not a tryhard, nerdy etc ( and there would be nothing wrong about it !) but after seeing everyone got high rewards and me nothing…well if nothing happen or if the compensation is joke i am gonna quit the game, cause ( and i am quoting Nox words)" we are all frustated, but we appreciate patience"

My solution : run the final boss event again for 24h, only players who didn’t get first chest can get it again.

Hi guys!
I am from Italy and like you i can’t login on my main char, but can play on a new lvl 1 char, still with a lot of lag.
After several tries i can login with my lvl 80 warrior, but still super lag and can’t do anything apart from moving in an empty map and getting kicked out after some seconds.

I have been mad searching for a solution, and i read similar problems related to fastweb are happening for many games ( Wow etc).

Please if anyone ( arenanet also) get to know something new, post here, thank you!
