This is an amazing guide , your guide really helped alot. I just returned from not having played in a while and this guide reminded me about what guild wars is all about. But it also learned me new stuff I didn’t know before. So for everyone who needs some help with combat. THIS IS YOUR GUIDE!!!!!

You could also get some armor from karma venders after completing heart events in an area. Not all karma vendors sell armor though

Yeah, that’s what I’m doing atm, had not visited all karma vendors yet, so I’m trying to get my gear better this way first, if I still have some underleveled gear, I’ll have to buy it from a normal armorsmith, but still thanks for helping

You don’t have two problems, you have only one problem, the second quote is the explanation. The fact that you didn’t unlock your Master traits won’t help either.

If you are lacking money, I would advise you to finish low-level areas maps entirely. This will net you experience as well as some items and mats to sell if you need the money, or to help you craft yourself a new stuff. If you’re playing in a level 30-40 map with level 18-25 stuff, you’re going to have a bad time.

By the way, are you on an EU or NA server? I wouldn’t mind giving you a tiny financial boost so you can start enjoying the game a bit more if you’re in EU.

Hey guys, I got a huge problem (you can say multiple problems at the same time). I started playing GW2 just when it came out, I liked it alot but somehow I stopped playing it. Now I really want to start playing it again but I have so many problems with my main account. My main account is a level 40 thief and my biggest problem is PvE. I just can’t find the right build. I don’t know if I have put my traits wrong or not but I just can’t seem to be able to kill mobs. I die way to fast and take way to much damage. Second, my gear is just way underleveled. I got stuff from lvl 26 and lvl 18 and don’t know an easy way to get new gear. And if I want buy new gear, another problem shows up, … MONEY. I don’t even have enough money to enable my Master traits and my crafting can’t make up for it. If anyone has any advice or any solutions please let me know.
