Customizable Player Homes?

I am sorry if this has been talked about already, but looking up “Player Homes” in the search function doesn’t yield any results, so here goes.

I know this is minor, but the first thing I noticed when I saw the Player home for my character is “Wow, this place is BIG,” Second, “There are a ton of NPCs here,” and third, “Where’s the customization menu?” I know you can add resource nodes, and the player homes are pretty well created, but I guess I’m used to some other MMO’s where you can personalize your home instance. I see ways to fix issues that could come up (Again, I’m just a player, so I know nothing about the engine of the game):

Too much data on the server: I’m not sure if this is ACTUALLY an issue, but if it does turn up, you could save the models and map file to the hard drive of the player’s computer (If it’s not already) and set the models to render at certain areas. You can set the player to localhost the home instance.

How to make the personalization appear: I answered that in the previous reason, actually.

Too much extra stuff for the devs: Oh please. They can work on Living World each month or so, and they crafted a HUGE world for us to explore. I think they could spare some time to add some relatively small map files and models.

Again, I don’t know if there’s some huge issue with this and there’s a reason you haven’t done this, but I feel like if this is my character’s house, I should at least be able to decorate it.
