For those worried about a lack of communication:
I do want to reiterate my thanks for the patience most of you have shown, and assure you that we’re fixing things as fast as we can. Unfortunately, sometimes “as fast as we can” is sometimes two weeks (or longer). I wish we could always have a fix for every bug in the first hotfix after a patch, but some bugs are just harder to fix. I’m sorry this one is taking so long. Please know that we are listening, and we do take your concerns seriously.
Was taken from a thread about another personal story problem. A quick look at the forums shows at least two other personal Story missions that have game-haulting bugs. So there’s quite a bit for them to do.
Telling them “Hurry up or I’m leaving” isn’t particularly helpful. They’re running a business – I’m pretty sure they know that frustrating bugs can drive people away. They probably don’t need to be reminded.
The Asura personal story is also broken..
As well as one of the earlier Sylvari questlines – not sure about Humans and Norn though.
The Home Instance is pretty much like individual player housing. You can upgrade it with Gemstore stuff, and characters from your personal story hang out there.
I remember this same issue happening a few times over the past couple years.
Either it’s not a simple fix, or it’s linked to something that’s repeatedly changed.
I tried playing another MMO after GW2, and it just didn’t do anything for me. I can’t exactly put my finger on what it was; the artstyle, sound, interactions with others – but something about it bugged me.
I suppose I enjoy Guild wars more than I thought I did.
You Always can dance naked together while throwing love in the air right
Now that, is the very definition of romance.
I’m a returning player; started playing at release, but work picked up and kept me from the game for quite some time. While not exactly a newb ( I managed to make a few level 80’s.) I’ve yet to join a guild, so there are some things I’m not familiar with – Such as Guild Rep, WvW stuff, and so on. I am looking forward to learning about it though.
My mic is currently broken, though I’m in the middle of ordering a new one now.
What I’m looking for in a guild:
- Ideally, I’d like to join a fairly well established, active guild. Having only been going around PvE solo, I’m looking forward to trying my hand at WvW, PvP, Dungeons, and other aspects of the game. I’d like an organized, established place to learn about it if possible.
- Humoring my lack of knowledge. It’s been quite a while since I played last, and although I’ve been reading up on some of the changes I’m sure I’ve missed more than a few. I’ll probably have a metric-boat load of questions.
And that’s it. Currently on Sorrows Furnace/NA – but I’m willing to transfer servers, and I should have enough gold to cover it so I won’t need help in that regard. I don’t have to worry about work for another year, so as an added bonus; I’m basically available whenever.
