OK – in 10 minutes after I posted here and browsed the forums, I went back to the game and it now shows 83/83 and I have the achievement.
Weird, but my frustration is over and I even feel a tingling of happiness.
All hints checked, but achievement panel shows 82/83 – what is going on?
Zerker gear isn’t the problem. It is a game mechanic problem. That’s been stated more than a few times. Your hate for zerkers is misplaced. You should be hating Anet for making DPS king if anything.
You are correct – I did not choose the corret wording for my OP. Players choose, what devs choose for them.
And this worries me, because a game mechanics’ overhaul is extremely unlikely unless they add new dungeons/fractals, where zergining is not the number one option for clearing content. Which I doubt …
Instead of adding gear tiers, they should be focusing on making zerker builds obsolete and/or buff other armor builds.
It is not normal for any game (especially MMO) to have a single gear build as the only viable for running dungeons.

Guardian here – would love to be able to complete path 4. Completed other paths, and tried several times path 4, but stuck on Dwayna.
