Question, i know fire tree has no real love due to our survivability, but would a celestial setup perhaps allow us to take advantage of 30 fire setup in any way? say something like 30/0/0/20/20

best choice for what exactly all situations or just pretending every class has to be zerker cof warrior?

Starting to wonder now how elementalists might fair with a full celestial setup now that we will have armor/weapons to toy with the equation. I still see it possibly being valid, since we keep getting shoved out specializing every time it becomes meta.

Is the 30/30/10 optimal for pve conditions then? If not what would be the glass cannon version for pve necro conditions? Mostly looking for dungeon/event/WvW.

I would rather they fix the current classes, as it is now I fear elementalist is on its way to the Paragon graveyard. r.i.p.

yet still less hp/armor/dps than other classes that can do that and still dps higher

Question for more experienced elementalists, inlight of listening to him about what their goal is for the class. Would say like Rabid Gear + Divnity Runes and all celestial accessories setup be even viable or is it spreading yourself to thin? It seems to be what he is saying the ele is made for? Id love to hear some feedback

Therein lies my dilemma, if you want us to be “jack of all trades” why is even that concept outperformed by others. I am at a total loss as to goal of a elementalists atm.
Do we specialize or go generic? Ty for some responses I hope to get more feedback and hear other elementalists opinions.

In light of listening to Izzy talk about elementalists and how every stat effects them ect ect. Would a Conditimentalist with something like 30/0/30/10/0 be viable at all? I speaking mostly from a PVE/WvW concept. Rabid gear and or divinity runes…Full Celestial style. Probably grasping at straws atm I know.
If not what would a balanced ele, like he seems to want us to be? What would be our goal to aim for? Mediocrity in everything?

I had a odd question, if any mesmer could answer me. Does any mesmer currently have the Taffy Wings, I know shattered isn’t till this weekend, if so do the wings show up on illusions properly? Animation and all?
