Crystal Desert here – I just want to give props to the Dark Haven group from the All or nothing guild. Running around in a 4-5 man just kicking kitten Ya’ll are a tough group =P

Suddenly getting a lot of crashes after that last update myself….up until this point I might see one every couple days. Literally after the new patch, its a couple an hour.

I would love to see a rank system implemented, its just one more thing to work toward (achievements/titles are pretty meh in my opinion). A visible rank to enemy faction would be awesome though. Instead of “Crystal Desert Invader” maybe “Crystal Desert Warmaster” or “Crystal Desert Grunt” etc.

I admit, there are times it fails, and I got stomped, but majority of the time, I am back in the tower gates before they realize I am there =)

Maybe you guys aren’t geared enough, or just wrong builds. When it comes to gate defense, I will jump off the wall, into the crowd, throw down my combo, and run back inside. It puts down a lot of dps on a lot of people.. You can even stand on the inside of a gate with staff and autoattack pretty solid aoe damage to gate attackers.

Been playing guardian since day one, and I feel like boosting guardians range attack would only make them more OP. I run a greatsword/condition build and have NO problem getting lots of kills in WvW. Jump into a crowd, throw down binding blade, pull everyone I can to me, drop down purging flames, throw in a whirling wrath if I have time. At that point I’m dishing out about 4k aoe burn damage, then what dps I lay down with my greatsword, this usually ends up in 2-3 kills if I get some follow up dps from nearby players. Guardian has crazy mobility between Judge’s Intervention, and Sword skill 2. I run sword/focus as alternate to my greatsword for mobility/survivability. As for wall sieging, I agree that we do lack in offense in this area, but I really don’t think guardian need to be made more OP so that they dominate in every aspect of the game. I personally am a Charr, so I can pull out my charrzooka and do some decent damage to players on walls =) Anyhow, just my 2 cents

I have tried all kinds of settings options as well. I basically cant WvW, whenever a crowd of people show up, I get the crash. So im assuming thats just stressing out my PC too hard, or something to do with character models is causing my crashes? I have no idea, just frustrated at this point.

Im constantly getting the File: ..\..\..\Game\Main\MainCli.cpp(573) error as well. Also had a crash/forced redownload of the whole client a day or two ago…tried everything suggested in other threads, nothing seems to help

I have tried these suggestions, and have noticed a significant improvement. In fact I haven’t crashed once since I changed my settings knock on wood Prior to this I was crashing every 15-30 minutes or so…hope it holds up

After reading another thread, I saw a forum moderator ask for some corrupt file logs. If one happens to catch this, im posting them to see if that helps. As they instructed, I changed the file type to a .txt to be able to upload to forum, although it should be .dat

As drivers should be up to date, but I guess i’ll go through again and check. Haven’t done memtest in a long time, as I was playing Aion with no issues at all, but I suppose to be thorough, this is something i’ll have to do.

Can anyone help me out with setting up my GPU/in-game settings? I crash a lot, sometimes 10-20 times in 5-6 hours. Sometimes the game closes down and brings up the crash report window, sometimes it just freezes in place, and I have to ctrl+alt+del and close the process. I attached a picture of my current graphic settings that are set by autodetect, which I try to play on, as in pve it gives me decent enough appearance without any lag problems. I have to set to best performance when going in WvW. I know my PC isn’t top of the line, and I can deal with low fps and stuff, but the constant crashing is driving me nuts..especially with long WvW queues. Im mainly just looking for decent visual with stability. Any help would be appreciated, im not too keen on GPU’s and graphics.
