Despite the tool-tip updating to display the additional might and vulnerability from the Deadly Trapper trait, Shadow trap does not actually generate these effects upon its use with the trait selected.

Dear developers at ArenaNet,
Thank you for this fantastic new map. It is quite enjoyable, especially since I’ve only ever roamed against T1 players, and so fighting other tiers is… relaxing.
However, I will continue to extend my most sincere gratitude to whichever person or persons were responsible for the creation of one specific individual: The Champion Balloon Pilot.
I’ve seen him throw people over railings with his force powers, floor anybody wearing zerker with tele-strikes, and generally be amazingly hilarious, all with not but his bare hands.
So thank you, for without this creation I would have been absent countless minutes of laughter.
Truly yours,

I’ve been experiencing heavy lag since the patch as well (though it may have also been a couple days prior, I didn’t play at the start of the week due to finals). I’ve tried several fixes for it to determine that the lag is not on my end. I’ve tried running the game on port 80, basic fixes like resetting router and netsh winsock, and disabling windows 7 nagle packeting (Leatrix fix).
I just ran my gw2 client with the -diag tag, and after the “Tracing Network Paths” section took 190 seconds to complete, this node caught my eye:

100% packet loss is quite enjoyable. If anyone has any other ideas for fixes on my end, I’d love to hear and try them. I’d appreciate being capable of playing the game. Here’s the whole tracert:
