Guild Wars 2

I know this is not the appropriate forum for discussion of gw 1 related issues, however, I do not seem to remember my gw 1 password, thus I can neither log in to the game, neither to the relevant forum to request support. I somehow managed to submit a ticket without logging in, attaching the necessary details (name, mail address associated with the account, game reg-key, etc) but have yet to receive any feedback. Any ideas where I should start?

Could you elaborate on what you mean by using username@ncssoft? I tried it, and did not seem to work. Thanks.

I bought the game a couple of days ago, and have been trying to link it with my old gw account ever since, but the link keeps redirecting me to a blank page with the all-too-familiar XML-error. I have seen developers replying that the problem has supposedly been fixed, yet I experience it nonetheless. Can anyone give me confirmation that the problem is being addressed? Thanks in advance
