but how do we beat it? With crowd controls? Bah – gonna have to delve into dark corners of MMOs mechanics I guess.
the bar that all the champions have that makes them go vulnerable for a period of time? it kept getting to around 30% after he used his aoe and then back up again. Our dps seemed to play no part in that…
Hello,
Reported the bug in game already, but it’s kinda heart breaking, so decided it was worth it to seek help here, also.
Together with my wife we got mordremoth to 20% twice tonight, and he bugged. Even thought we activated the rift, he was still stuck at invulnerable, which meant we couldn’t do a thing to it.
One time it happened, after I died. I was also the instance leader so we thought that might be the cause. Second time I was alive and well, and it still happened. We had to log off due to late hour and general tiredness, but would hate to go thru the entire event tomorrow again. Is there any chance the support staf could help us?
Cheers,
Thomas
Sound - music disrupted, SFX completely faded

Hi,
I’m not realy good with computers, and I keep getting a weird bug when I play Guild Wars 2.
Each time I’m in a CPU/graphic card intensive place (loading cities, running around in WvW pvp) sound effects of my character (foot steps, weapon swings etc.) fade completely and music seems to be disrupted (not muted – just sounds wrong).
It used to happen everywhere, but following an advise from different forums I changed music output from digital to speakers (whatever it means lol – I just followed the advice).
What else can I do to improve the situation? Slide show now and then is something we all need to adjust to, but sounds help when I’m attacked from behind in pvp.
Also – this happens only for Guild Wars 2. I run Skyrim without problems, shogun 2 with some mouse pointer issues and a couple of other random games run smootly.
Regards,
Thomas
edit -
I’m running Windows 7 64 bit on a Lenovo Y560 idea pad. Currently my audio device is called “speakers” (in polish – I have localised windows).
