WOA this art is great !! Could you draw my mesmer Professor Flapp?? He’s kinda evil genius style crazy asura :P
The searing would not have completely eliminated the ability to grow food, it would have severely diminished the Ascalonian capacity however. Between the Searing, the invasion, and starvation, the population of Ascalon dropped dramatically during that period. With the exception of the pilgrims Rurik lead to Kryta, and the members of the Vanguard who populated Ebon Hawke, the entire population of Ascalon was wiped out by the time of the Foefire.
I doubt the ascalonians would have survived for olmore than 20 years on such small food supplies. By the time of the foefire I think the ascalonians would have atleast rebuilt some of their farms and crops and at this time it is likely that they were getting supplied by Kryta. But in tje years just after the searing, when the ascalinian population was still reasonably high and the ground was so dry that jt would have been impossible to grow any crops or get any other type of food. Also in post searing ascalon in gw1 there no farms anuwhere and we had acces to almost all of the still human controlled parts of ascalon.
The searing hit Ascalon and the ground dried up, making farming or keeping lifestock impossible. So where did the Ascalonians get their food supplies from after the searing until thier fall? Adelbern refused Kryta’s help and due to the dwarvan civil war, the mountains were really hard to cross so foodsupplies from the west seem impossible. To the south there is the Crystal Desert, which is supposedly almost impossible to cross as well. To the north are the charr, and to the east we don’t know. So what did they eat? charr meat?
The Third Guild War also took place in Orr as well as Kryta and Ascalon. Presumably the army was deployed inside Orr itself to end the fighting, and died during the Cataclysm. There’s no evidence that the Orrian Army was sent outside of Orr during the Third Guild War afaik.
But if they were in Orr, they could have defended it. But it clearly sais that the Orrian army was send elsewhere so Orr was left undefended. Also, amongst the Orrian undead there is a distinct lack of undead Orrian soldiers.
Now that I think about it, there were almost no millitary Orian undead in the first game as well, just priests and wizards and sometimes some achers, but they were the minority.

According to the lore, king Reza of Orr had send the Orrian army away to bring an end to the Great Guild War and thats why Orr was left undefended and why it almost fell in to the hands of the Charr. If this is true, the Orrian army should have survived the Cataclysm and they never became undead. So what did happen to them? Where were they during the events of guildwars 1? Were they defeated, or did they survive and now there is some kind of Orrian settlement, somewere unknown?

Can you draw me and some of my guildies? My Mesmer Professor Flapp is some kind of insane genius, the Mesmer Aaltje Shrimp is crazy, the thief Vanessa Rubystar is really naughty, the warrior Tessje really proud and the Sylvari ranger is a… well kind of a love and peace hippy. Together they lead the Brotherhood of the fallen Nations, a secret policital guild with connections and high ranking members in every governement and every military organisation. They fight for the existance of all nations of Tyria by secretly controlling and stearing their governments, but most of all they fight to rebuild those nations that have fallen, no matter the cost… Thx in advance :P

Hello anet,
I’ve posted about this before but it was misinterpreted I think. The exotic dungeon armors all have their unique amazing skin, but the normal dungeon armors from all the dungeons have the same skin, while in the beta’s they also had the amazing looking dungeon specific armor skin the exotic armors have. My question is if this is a bug or deliberate?? Since exotic and normal looked the same before??
All dungeon armors from each ingame dungeon look exactly the same, and they don’t have the cool look they’re supposed to have. It’s really bothering me because now I have to wear a really silly looking hat on my asura and not the amaxing mask it’s supposed to be. I know I can hide it but still…
