Guild Wars 2

Good deal. I’ll play through the first couple of chapters of norn and blood legion charr, then, and decide which I prefer.

(I’ll keep checking for opinions in case anyone wants to add their two cents, btw)

@ Narkodx: Yes and no. I mean, your staff growing a shadow scythe blade is pretty necro, but I can’t disagree that it kinda feels like a “PG necromancer with less focus on death” but I do enjoy the class so ..whatcha going to do, ya know? lol

@ Mobridae: No doubt charr necros look awesome lol. Then again, I /personally/ think charr look awesome period :P

I might try to roll a norn necro then, cause my idea for one sounds a lot like your own experience.

@Drarnor Kunoram: See, I went Ash legion and it /heavily/ feels like I should be sneaking around. I figured iron legion would be more engi (as I knew it was deeply connected to the engi class) and I figured Blood would be the same but for warriors.

But it sounds like you are saying it can work with necro + blood legion?

Just wondering what race/background has a story /most like/ something a necromancer would be involved in.

I love my human noble warrior, the story meshes well for him.

Same with my norn hunter and human thief (street rat).

I wanted to check out necromancer, rolled a charr.. but none of the “legions” feel like they fit, per se. Much in the way (IMHO) the human noble story doesn’t feel necromancy-ish.

So, in your opinion (If you dont mind my asking) what race and background combo do you think best suits necromancers “personal story” wise.

I have thought about maybe something nornish, going the whole “spirit shaman” thing, but like to hear outside opinions.
