My friend, Slamo.4805, has been without access to the game for more than two weeks at this point. Got a reply and access to his account back on September 10, but when he tried to log in to the game it said that it was suspended. He can log into the website and GW1 just fine, but he is currently/still locked out from playing GW2. The ticket was updated on September 10 accordingly to try to regain access, and no response yet.

A friend of mine just got his account back after two weeks of silence from support because his account had been changed/deleted/hacked. When he finally got it restored, he got the same alert about about “We have detected that your account may have been accessed by an unauthorized individual. For your security, further access to the account has been suspended until this matter can be resolved…” and has yet to hear anything back from support since posting an update on Sept 10th.

(I’m posting on his behalf because he’s not too great with support forums and whatnot, and I’ve been helping him out with the ticket submittals)

A friend of mine, Slamo.4805, had a similar problem. On August 31, he randomly found that he was unable to log in, with a message stating that the username (email address) did not exist. He submitted a ticket to Support under “Login Issues” on August 31, and hasn’t head anything back yet.

It seems a lot of people were having issues like this, most often being blamed on hackers/account breaches. I’m not so sure that really was the case for my friend, but that seems to be how these things are being handled.
