Ok, so, I’m playing GW2 with my girlfriend. We are both hammer warriors (I’m Norn and she’s Asura) with fairly similar builds. Her toon is level 65 with gear of varying levels, but the average is about 55. My toon is only level 28 with an average of level 20 on gear. We are both currently exploring Snowden Drifts so we have been downscaled to the 15-25 range.
What seems to be happening is that I am doing an ABSURD amount more damage than she is. We looked at our stats and I’m consistently about 100 points higher in everything (even armor, when she has 20 points into the Defense line and ~level 55 gear). We even did an experiment killing the same mobs; I finished mine off while she was still about half way through hers.
How can this be? Her level, gear, traits, and bonuses are leagues higher than mine yet I am still dishing out way more hurt than she is without even trying.
