Did you even read, lordkrall? He talks about that, and how he’d think it’d be more interesting with his own equipment that he earned.

I agree that duels should be added, particularly in the PVE world. Sitting around watching people duel in the full open world, while other things go on is a much different experience than sitting in a dedicated pvp area and fighting eachother.

As a fan of vanilla WoW, which I’d pass by this all the time, and it added a layer of atmosphere to the game, I would really like to see this added.

structured pvp is just not the same, in any way. it feels a bit alienating to have to go into the pvp area, and find a server people are ACTUALLY dueling in, and not just devolving into normal pvping, just in order to do something I enjoy I have to bend pretty far backwards.

I understand it doesn’t quite fit into the “only coop in open world” idea, but dueling doesn’t pit the entire server against each other, just two players, for a few minutes tops, and then they are back to being buddies as much as you like.
