Hello , Im sending this mensage for you guys and hopefully you will , at least take a look to what is happening , or if you know already what is happening and you just dont care , anyway.
I´ve been looking foward to this game since January of 2012 , a new mmo , with for a change a new look new system and all of that good stuff , at the time i must say i was looking foward to this game as i was for TERA , to say the truth i even started thinking TERA was better , that is , until the 1stBW ,with a couple of problems and all but thats to expect right? , since then I´ve been cheering for you and trying to get as many people as possible into this game and actually show them that its a worthy game. And i go ahead and say that you really got me on the part of saying this isnt like WoW that you need to grind for days , and days to get what you like/want.
But what a surprise , this game is no diferent from others , you want what you like? play everyday doing the same thing until you get what you want.
Taking the example of the legendary , i dont mind if i need to grind for something as rare and great as a lengendary , kitten , i will do the same thing for days just to get something like that and i wont even say a word against it. But now the exotics to get the legendarys are the biggest ( excuse me ) kitten up that ive seen in all of the mmos i played till now , i dont know if you guys had a ( excuse me ) brain collapse , i get it , give us a really big list of things , and only at the end one lengendary , you want to make it dificult … ok … but dont make it that only people with luck can get them , thats like playing russian rolette, because in my opinion , only people with actually skill to play the game should be able to get them , not just have the luck to drop one or put 4 exotics on the Mystic Forge and get one.
And This brings to another topic , by doing this you guys are indirectly helping the chinese ( excuse me ) kittens farming gold everywhere and selling it , and what does that create? a completly (excuse me ) kittened up market , i will take my example , i need the spark (dagger) to get the incenerator , is it fair that i need to pay 600g or have the luck to drop one? thats is on top of all of the other things that you need? and now tell me is it fair that someone that have more money than me in real life can be able to get better cool stuff by buying gold from a chinese guy? Just think about it.
I loved to see your try at balancing stuff at the tp with the new update , that doesnt help. So whats my solution to this all? i will be sincere , i have no idea.
By doing this your not getting more people into the game , your losing the people that actually logs in every single day , how can i know that? i started playing this 3 says before launch , i had +/- 50 friends made in game that i played the first couple of months , guess what , only 2 still play and many of them were players from gw1.
You have a great game in hands , with a really big problem that is destroying it from the inside out , please , i beg you to take a look , a 2nd look , a 3rd look how many looks its needed to fix this , even if that means making legendarys more easy to get , people are manipulating the market with this legendary thing , ive been seeing this because everyday i check prices , a couple days ago sparks were 500g , all of them disapeared and came back 16 of them with the 670g price, please once again , open your eyes to what is going on , or if you got them open and just dont care , please remember that there are allways players that will still play gw2 , no matter how kittened up the game is , But im talking about the ones that make this game what it is today , because all of the people that started playing gw2 will look at it and say :
This is just another mmo that rewards luck and not skill , grind and not skill , and above all else money in real life that doesnt make it a pay 2 win , it makes it a pay to get better looks or rare stuff.
Think about it , its not about giving to the people that only play this game once or twice a week , or to the people that win money from it , its about the players that give you money so they can have a game to play everyday , and dont ask anything of you , just a fair system so they can play and have fun.
