You don’t have to go to Gendarran Fields either, you can go to any capitol city. They all have banks. But if you can’t leave LA, then yeah you’re kittened.
Seeing now I can only goto Heart of the Mists and WvW maps.
My only hope is that we can hold Anvil Rock Valley in EB long enough for full vendor upgrade just to run to the bank.Thanks again Anet.
PS. Why would there not be a bank in Heart of the Mist.
This post makes no sense if you go to your home WvW map (in my case FA borderlands) and go through the portal marked for Lions Arch it automatically redirects you to the new Asura gate that was built in the new base, the bank is located in the nearby keep.
Every time I tried that I was ported into Burning Lions Arch, a cut scene starts, and Client Crash / Computer Freeze.
Reset then try again and same thing happened.
Possible I need to finish the cut scene, but I am unable.
Either way I got it figured out at a crafting station in my server’s BL.
I have no interest in going back to the pve world again anyway.

Each crafting station is also giving access to the bank. interact with it, and go to the bottom two tabs (one is the bank, and the other the materials tab).
Also if your character can’t leave/survive lions arch due to technical issues and you cant get to gendarran fields on your own, I would suggest to write support.
They can manually move your character there. The purpose is that you see what happened to lion’s arch and then can portal out to the new central hub.
Once you have been there once, going to the heart of the mist and leaving to ’lion’s arch’ will bring you to the new central hub in gendarran fields.

Been playing for a year and never had any reason to click on a crafting station,
never would have figured that out.
Edit: Didnt even know what a crafting station was.
or in your Citadel, or anywhere there’s a crafting station really.
Searched all over the crafting station in our Citadel,
Trading post, but no bank.

It was a joke. Siri is on the iPhone.
The bank is in Gendarran by the mystic forge.
It looks like I’m going to have to wait for this burning, lazer, bullkitten to end it LA.
Just going there freezes my computer or disconnects me.

So I leave heart of the mists, where I spend a majority of my time, only to end up in a burning building getting shot by a kitten lazer?? Not to mention the lag.
And I won’t even play that aweful map skyhammer LOL.

apparently lions arch is out of the question.
This stupid client goes by number of files when determining %….
not the size of the files.
