My build was based on a synergy of abilities: Smash Brawler, Adrenal Health, Cleansing Ire, Eternal Champion
Build was focused on maximizing survival while maintaining acceptable damage.
I emphasize that the build was built for the solo pve.
The main damage was dealt by Primal burst ability.
Variations of the build were possible for both power and condi.
Now you nerf the ability Smash Brawler. The base ability for my build.
The nerf might not seem that significant as it changes the reduction of cooldowns from 33% to 20%. Reduced by 13%
But in fact now 67% cooldown on abilities is up to 80%.
Therefore the cooldowns will increase by 20%.
Therefore there’s already at least 20% less damage and survival.
Survival will decrease, because the ability to remove conditions depends on Cleansing Ire, which is tied to the Primal burst, the cooldown of which will increase by 20%.
But we go further.
Damage will decrease by more than 20%.
Really, the decrease will be more like 25% to perhaps 40%.
The thing is that now, because of the increased cooldown of Primal bursts abilities I’ll be able to use less cycles during Berserker duration
So, earlier I almost always used 4 Scorched Earth.
Now it has become almost impossible. Therefore this is already 25% decrease in DPS.
You also nerfed Eternal Champion. Stability now holds only half of Berserker uptime. Which in turn might affect DPS evem more if Warrior is more subjected to control.
In addition, the cooldown on the berserker mode itself has also been increased.
Once again, I emphasize that my build is for PVE solo. I do not consider the potential of permanent alacrity, which can be accessed in raids and groups.
As the combat efficiency depends on both survival and damage the total reduction in combat effectiveness can reach 50%!!!
Anet, why do you dislike Warrior?
Nerf just makes playing this class a lot less fun.
If you want to make it a pure support, then say so directly.
Like useless Revenant isn’t enough.
