I was going through the tech forum and noticed this little gem on the second page:

A very similar issue to ours with some Italian posters on it from the last two days. But for the last two months a lot of European players (mostly in switzerland and germany) have been experiencing lag and disconnection problems while some even report the exact same error code we have been getting.

I accepted the explanation that it was an ISP issue but ISP issues through out Switzerland and Germany???

It seems to be working now. Ran around in LA, Queensdale, Plains of Ashford and Fields of Ruins all are fine. Some lag in Bloodtide Coast.

I’m on the Aurora Glade server.

Would be helpful to others if those of you who have experienced this issue to confirm that the game is working for you as well.

Update: it is very laggy as Endi says. Straits of Devestation, Orr and the Norn starting map. Disconnection is also back. I am not using WTFast.

It seems a lot of ppl are having variations but essentially the same problem as yourself especially in Italy (myself included).

I just posted on another thread about the same problem. Italy, Fastweb, (Aurora Glade). worked fine until last night.

Both my Main and Alt are in Lion’s Arch.

Add another to the list from Italy. Bought the game in early October and until last night I had no problems whatsoever. Today I get disconnected and taken back to my character select screen with the exact error code as everyone here reports. I’ve tried resetting my wifi router (secured) as some guild members suggested but no go.
