So I was standing around in Queensdale being lazy as usual… When I noticed the sun took a certain shape. ArenaNet obviously has something in store for us.
I’ve been playing the game all day, only disconnecting once and I’ve been continuously doing the new event, as well as killing Champions in hopes of getting some new skins. However, I can’t do that anymore, because I keep crashing only on one character! I’ve crashed only once earlier today and just assumed it was nothing, now every time I try to log into my main my game just crashes, but I have no problem logging into another character. This kitten es me off for several reasons. I’m one of the few people who played three days early due to pre-ordering the game, and after a while I quit and I just returned yesterday, so I won’t even be able to continue playing for a while because of these crashes? Also the achievement chests, I was EXTREMELY excited when I first saw the Zenith skins and was happy to be getting one tomorrow, but that may take even longer because of this stupid retroactive thing on top of the crashes, so I may not be able to claim the one I was supposed to get today.
I’ve done the repair thing that’s suggested when starting up the game, that didn’t help at all.
When I first began playing, I had no clue what the legendary weapons were until someone linked me a video showing both Sunrise and Twilight during a beta weekend (I didn’t play any of the betas due to my local retailer giving me the receipt for a 1-day head start when I should have gotten a 3-day head start). A few weeks after launch when the trading post finally came back up, I checked the price for Dusk of Rage and I remember it being between 15-20 gold. Now saving this much wouldn’t be possible due to being only between the levels of 20 and 30. Now that I’m 80, I don’t believe I will ever have a legendary due to the prices on them sky-rocketing. Dusk of Rage went from being between 10-15 gold weeks ago to now being nearly 400 gold.
And it amazes me that I’m now seeing people in full Tier 3 Cultural with a legendary equipped.
