Two part names are easy to create. If u want a good 1 part name try: http://www.rinkworks.com/namegen/. Also olde English such as Chaucer is a good source for names.

This just makes me even more confused, because I though EU players had no way of getting in contact with US ones and therefor I see no use for the unique names to be shared across all servers.
Well my account name isnt something that I really took time to create since I could take anything I wanted, but I have taken all the things I wanted to call my character that were taken and translated them to latin and still no progress. I have alse gone through old game mobs/monsters I like and even those are taken or reserved, even though I’m pretty sure it has been 24 hours since the release
I just recently got GW2 and when i decided to make a character I very quickly noticed that almost every thinkable name was already taken. And I also noticed some of the names I tried said that they were reserved.
So 2 quick questions, how long will these reservations last and if one name is taken on the US servers is it still available on the EU ones?
