Guild Wars 2

Hi, I’d like to become a student. I’m a NA player (Mountain time zone), and generally play during weeknights after 8pm EST, and any time on weekends. I have the HoT expansion and have been playing for about eight months. I have a thief and warrior to lvl 80 and equipped with exotic gear.

I prefer playing my thief, but will play the warrior if a mentor thinks it’ll be easier for a noob like me to start out with. I have very little experience doing any type of group PVE content other than open world stuff.

I’d like to begin with dungeons for now and fractals later on. I have almost no experience playing this type of MMO and lack an understanding of the fundamentals and general experience that my current guild mates have. They’re all doing mid level fractals and raids and I need to rewind and learn the basics first, I think.

Herpa kitten … restarting the client resolved this issue and advanced the story.

In Verdant Brink, after finishing chapter 2 of the Heart of Thorns story journal and grinded enough xp to earn my glider basics mastery.

I switched stories back to “My Story” for a couple of days and then came back to HoT Chapter 3 which says “Earn your Glider Basics Mastery to continue your story.”

I’ve been gliding all over the place and can’t figure out how to advance the story further.
