I think the Mcafee was the problem, did something off the acer site to disable. It finally started downloading. That you so much for your time and patients

okay, just was following the steps. to find out when I hit apply to disabling all of the programs; McAfee Real-time Scanner remains running. Any ideas?
what do you mean by clean boot?
ah, I dont see McAfee in the Programs and Features. But I did find a file in my C/programfiles (x86). There isnt much but Virus scan.
Where can I redownload so I have the full file?
