I’ve been saving all my laurels till now, in the hope of getting ascended gear with:
Power
Vitality
Condition
Really hoping you add ascended gear thats worth spending and collecting laurels through daily.
Just felt like sharing my second video, since I shared my first one a while ago, I appreciate all criticism, and like to share tricks/ combat tactics.
As this spec I do have a bit of trouble fighting sword/dagger & dagger pistol, fights end up lasting like 15 minutes, to the point we just leave each other alone and go about our business.

I plan on specing sword/dagger soon, because I enjoy the usage of 2 way too much, very fun ability.
If any sword/dagger thieves out there have any cool tricks they’d like to share, plz do, I would like to get better at using s/d myself.
i do not understand what you try to prove
1.smoke field is visible / small you can aoe the area
2.why would an 50 ppls zerg split in small groups of 5 ppls to get stealthed by 10 diferent thieves for 10 seconds when they can enter to an portal?
3.is not viable inside combat , you drop smoke field
- elementarist drop meteor in the area
-necro aoe fear in the are and aoe wells
-Engineir drop grenades /bombs
- warrior use 100b
-ranger blinding roots
guardian /mesmer knock you back from your field
-you might also explain why, with all those tools , thief is voted mediocre pvp clas in sPvP forum . Position 4 out of 8.
4. you waste 20 trait points +1 utility slot for that – you will not afford this inside wvwvw
I’m trying to prove that thieves have potential to do more then just gank squishy targets, and can provide a lot to team/raid gameplay. If coordinated.
1 + 2.When I say stealth a raid I don’t mean stay in the wide open, that would be silly, I obviously meant find a place in an area with little visibility and then do it, because it might be possible and a fun thing to do. I’m sure if someone did find us out, that everyone would disband the spot and just fight normally. My video was about trying something new. And stealthing a raid was meant for If somehow we got overrun at like say stonemist for example, they probably had a biggest raid or was too quick for us to react, hide like 10 people top floor somewhere, wait it out, just a consideration.
3.Didn’t I state it wasn’t even possible to use in combat…? Of course I know it drops a smoke field lol?
4.Waste??? points in the best talent tree for thieves?, Ain’t a waste at all, And also those utility skills don’t need to be used, they help with initiative management.
Maybe I need to add a extra note saying you don’t need those skills to perform it, it just makes it easier.

Well when I fight like more than one person I tend to look for an environment that would give me an advantage, but if that’s what turned you off, can’t help much there.

A wins a win, I got beat thinking I could continue fighting, I fixed my lag problem though, was still a good fight.
Thanks for the criticism, the video was meant just to be something fun to watch, it’s just I personally always run into like 95% of the time d/d burst thieves, so I just wanted to get out another type of spec that others might have fun trying.
