There are a couple daily achievements that take place in normal places (So not an activity where you’re in a PvP zone) that don’t give experience upon completion anymore.
- Mystic Forgesmith (Hasn’t given xp for a while now)
- Puzzle Jumper (Only fairly recently stopped giving xp)
I have no idea what may have changed.
If you try to use just the mouse for fast ground targeting (Say I’m running along auto-running with my thief while I eat and want to use infiltrator’s arrow with just my mouse) it automatically is used without giving me time to aim it.
Current behavior: When you activate a ground targeted skill by clicking its icon with the mouse, it immediately fires off under your feet.
Proper behavior: When you activate a ground targeted skill by clicking its icon with the mouse, it should revert to standard aiming instead of Fast aiming for that skill use.
There are new options coming. Try the upcoming press and release method. You may find it easier to avoid out of range
After getting to try them, I can say that unfortunately the new options don’t make it any easier
I would like a toggle (Or a modifier key that forces this) where if I try to cast a ground targeted spell too far away, instead of getting an error it would just activate at max range instead.
Primarily useful for skills like Blink, where getting an error instead of actually teleporting means the difference between surviving and dying.
If there already is a way to do this…someone please tell me how and I’ll love you forever.
When dragging items onto a mail window, if you don’t get them right into an item slot you’re asked if you want to destroy the items. A drag and drop anywhere onto the window should put the item into the nearest (Or first, whatever) open slot in the mail message.
(Had a friend accidentally destroy some items because of clicking, “Yes I want to mail it” since “Do you want to destroy the item you just dragged onto your mail message?” doesn’t make sense)
If I bring up a ground targeted skill with my cursor over an ally’s portrait the targeting appears immediately under my feet, so if I click the button again (Double tap the # to activate) it misfires right under me.
At worst it shouldn’t do anything so I can trigger it where I want it to actually go.
At best it should activate where I’m targeting, because I want to fire off an attack where the portrait is currently obscuring. Or in the case that just wiped me out, I want to blink over there.
Reproduction steps:
- Hover the mouse over an ally.
- Activate a ground targeted skill.
- Notice the targeting is right under your own feet instead of anywhere near where your mouse is aiming.
This behavior is generating selection clicks when they’re not expected.
If I right click (And release) on a target, I select them and begin automatically attacking. That’s fine.
Here’s the bug, though:
- Right click with a target under the mouse. Do not release.
- Move the mouse to rotate the camera. The mouse cursor vanishes.
- With the cursor gone, I expect to never perform a selection click.
- Release the mouse with the cursor still over the original target.
- This selects them, even though I moved the view enough to make the cursor vanish.
This hits me mostly when running through tunnels and making small adjustments to my view to see slightly better down them, and times like that. It’s very disruptive when I start attacking something I expected to quietly run past, or target an ally instead of the enemy I was going to launch my attack at. Given an unlucky camera spin it can even occur after rotating all the way around my character to face the other way (Depending on location of the target I accidentally clicked on)
Note: I believe this is a bug because if I click a target then move off them and release it doesn’t occur, and if I click then move over a target and release it doesn’t occur, but only if I click a target, move the view, then release still on them does it occur.

Agree with everything, though I’d switch the priority on the targeting — it’s more important to me to know who I’m rezzing (NPC or player, downed or defeated) than to have a button to change what I’m targeting.
(Not sure it’s even practical to allow F key target switching without it just being changing your target, since that’s what overrides the normal priority/distance calculations)
A general tip to keep levelling quickly: As you reach max level for a zone, move to the a new zone for that level range.
Stick to events within 1-2 levels of you there (Even +1-2 levels above you, which will be harder — don’t be afraid to leave an event if it’s too hard and go do other ones) and that will help keep you moving through the levels.
While you can stay in lower level zones and keep participating in events and things, xp gain drops off pretty quick.
