I would guess that folks who made the ice bow tested that gift with other items, but that is simply speculation. Same with the Vial of Liquid Flame. I did a pretty thorough test with Lightning, though I wouldn’t doubt that I missed a possible item or two for potential combinations.
I think there are only two or three longbow recipes – the named ones are quite expensive (ie: require legendary gifts to make), and the other would be the Mystic Longbow, which requires 30 Mystic Coins, the Eldritch Scroll, 5 Ancient Longbow Staves, and 5 Hardened String. I would venture to guess that all the other names bows found thus far are random results from combining random weapons.
I haven’t experimented much with bows, so I could be mistaken.
Here’s a nifty website for Mystic Forge weapons.
Im sure if you just replaced the 250 staves with 250 orichalcum greatsword blades youd get a greatsword and so on.
That’s generally not how the recipes have been working. I believe these bows match the design of the conjured ice bow from elementalists. The conjured hammer has been discovered to use Gift of Lightning; the greatsword, Vial of Liquid Flame; the shield, obsidian shards. These weapons don’t have equivalents of other weapon types.
The only other weapon that I’m aware of that uses Glacial Lodestones is Jormag’s Needle.
You don’t. You have to salvage them from gear drops.
Been using this for a while now with Hammer 4. Get the timing just right and it makes for an epic moment.
I assume you mean Final Rest. It seems to be confirmed that Infinite Light can and has been crafted.
Has that recipe been confirmed?
Holy Moly, the charged cores are up to 70s each. I’ve been hoarding them while they were still around 40-42s each, but still need alot more to complete the lightning hammer, only managed to collect 250~
Haven’t seen any screens or anything, but someone has updated the Wiki to indicate that the Gift of Lightning/Charged Lodestone recipe makes Mjolnir, and that the 250 Sword blades/250 Charged Lodestones recipe makes Infinite Light.
Nope… Not Ori Hammer Heads
Edit: I can comfortably say that whatever non-legendary this recipe makes, it’s among the most expensive non-legendary items found to date.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. I’m torn between making the Gift of Light for my Foefire’s weapon and making the Gift of Lightning to try for this thing.
I think all I’m short is the gossamer, so if I get that rounded up I may go for this tonight.
I may have missed this one somewhere, but if I did, I read right over the top of it without seeing it:
1 x Eldritch Scroll ; 100 x Mystic Coin ; 250 x Charged Lodestone ; 250 x Orichalcum Sword Blade
I haven’t the slightest idea what weapon this would make (though presumably a 1-hand sword).
Motive is a smaller guild on Blackgate that is looking to grow its ranks. We have a base of about 15-25 people right now; primarily focused on finishing off dungeon sets/achievements, but we are moving towards having a steady Wv3 presence.
Our guild structure is pretty informal (within the guild, that is), but we hold each other accountable when it comes to doing content. Our core group is used to a high standard, and while we don’t consider ourselves “top tier,” we expect that we will get to that point.
In this world of 500+ player guilds, we’re just looking to expand slightly. Not by much, as we are rather fond of actually knowing the people that we are playing with, but enough to have more folks to run with. We have Tier 4 Econ/Politics, and our Art of War is being expanded now. We haven’t bothered with Architecture as, quite frankly, we haven’t had a need for a guild bank thus far.
Talk to myself, Arukas, Tiranuuhl, or Boba The Unyielding for any inquiries.
