First off, thank you for the heads up on the lfg-tool, should clarify more obviously.
I didn’t mean to be rude or talk about skipping as a bad habit, for me as someone who focused more on open world exploration and many alts instead of running dungeons i have always thought that skipping is/ could be difficult and that i wouldn’t know how to properly do it, despite reading guides and stuff for this dungeon. Did the same when I started fractals, read absolutely every single mechanic to be prepared. For me thats the best i can do before trying this content.
So after realizing that Guardians will not get buffed into a healing role before PoF, and probably not in the expansion, I decided to roll a Druid.
I had her at 80 with everything but the Druid elite unlocked so at least I didn’t have to level one.
Wanted to get Magi’s gear and since I need the runes of the Monk anyways I thought getting it through AC.
Now I didn’t play for a couple of months and it seems when someone is running the paths they tend to skip absolutely everything.
Is it even possible to get a decent PuG as a total noob in regards to dungeons?
I hope that you don’t mind if I hijack your topic for a question.
When I want to go into raiding with a Guardian, is it even possible to get into pugs with it since it seems that it isn’t exactly “meta” and everyone is fixated on it.
So, after leveling to 80 and playing through HoT and LS2 I started LS3 and wanted to do a couple of fractals to mix it up a little bit. Since I need the molten fractal for the Flameseeker Prophecies I wanted to do it.
Tried to PuG and we had a relatively hard time, wiped and got kicked.
I’m geared in full exotics and i was using Scepter/Focus, Greatsword but changed it for Hammer because I like the playstyle more than GS.
Was I just unlucky or do I have to gear for Ascended before going into Fractals? Used the build on qtfy but changed it up for Hammer.
Nice thank you.
I like relatively complex playstyles and the challenge of mastering it. That’s why I thought about going for a Condition based build.
Seems like the more fun and unique playstyle too.
Huhu
After asking about a possibility of playing revenant and being discouraged quite quickly. I wanted to ask if the engineer is viable in raids and fractals.
I know of qT and metabattle but that is a source of builds which i would follow.
My main question is, now that I’ve learned that i should scrap my idea of playing a supportive revenant, are engineers welcomed or are there any professions with higher priority in the team comp.
I play engineer since the release of the game along with guardian and thief but took a hiatus of a couple of months. Therefore I’m a noob when it comes to fractals and raids so I’d have to learn .
Thanks in advance
I’m returning after a hiatus of a couple of months, and i wanted to play the revenant as a new main.
My main focus would be dungeons/fractals/raids and I am a healer at heart.
I know that the Druid is supposed to be the main healer because of is versatility. But i like the idea of the Rev more.
The question now is, how viable are they when it comes to those endgame stuff in a role of a healer and how much does it take to convince people to give me a chance instead of the current meta.
Thanks in advance.
