I had a Blank BLTC for a while now and I could resolve it!

Here’s my case:
I use VPN and Firefox. So I tried everything to get rid of the blankness.. Today I’ve found out that I had to turn off proxy-usage in both of the internet browsers (IE and Ff). The problem is that to connect VPN I have to use proxy. But after that you can turn it off and it WORKS.

Hurray! I hope some can benefit from my solution.

My Engineer’s Grandmaster’s Training Manual is bugged, I can’t consume it. I double-click it and nothing happens, I right-click it and select Use, but still, nothing happens. It cost 2 golds! I don’t want to waste my precious, hard earned gold. :_)
Oh and I’m lvl 80, so it’s not because I didn’t reach lvl 60.
I purchased this manual in Lion’s Arch a day ago.

Rasmus and others not working for me either. Same error code. Plus a “Not found” window after that.

I don’t get it. BLTC is still coming up blank (as for Space Monkey) for me too, not even the yellow circle-thing.

I have Win7 (64bit). None of these tips helped for me either (i.e. run as admin, del local.dat, dis. fw, etc.)

Only thing that helped temporarily was the Root Certificate update (Update for Root Certificates for Windows 7 [April 2012] (KB931125)), but not anymore.

The only thing I can think of is that I use VPN. But I don’t understand why would this be a problem. And how did this set up worked earlier with Root Cert. and now not.

The Windows Firewall is not blocking GW2 either, plus I even disabled it, not to interfere, but no effort.

Please help me ANet or I can’t buy anything during Halloween!! :‘( I provide you extra info, if this wasn’t enough, just say what.
