Guild Wars 2

Hey guys, I’ve just got guild wars 2 and am currently downloading the updates. I am new to the game which means I will be a huge newbie. I am looking for a multicultural guild such as ones with people from all around the world and not just one country, as meeting different types of people is part of the reason why I purchased this game. I am a friendly, open-minded, and helpful person that enjoys questing, exploring, and doing plenty of other things with guild mates. I myself am a college student and don’t worry, I won’t discriminate any other players by their race, age, or gender as I believe in a open society. Finally, I would appreciate any guild invitations and thank you.

P.S Which race and class would you recommend for a first time player? If your guild seeks for a specific class/race, I will consider about making one for it

Hello guys, I’ve just recently bought the guild wars 2 and have finished installing the game, but am currently downloading the updates for the it. About 3 hours later when the download is at 60%, windows decided to update, which i did not know, and my computer was forced to restart and update. When I opened up guild wars 2 to resume the update, it was at 0% again which is really frustrating as I’ve waiting for hours to just play the game but update is right back at the start. Is there anyway to play the game without the update or make it resume back at where it currently was? Sorry if you find this question dumb.
