I first played Guild Wars 2 at PAX-Prime years ago. I have yet to wait in another line with such excitement.

Little late on the post, but once again:

What: Paid Tournament Queues on NA Servers
When: 1 Hour after Daily Reset (5pm PST / 8pm EST) on Wednesday (16th) and subsequent Wednesdays
Why: Because not all of us want to sit in queue for paid for hours at a time.

I will be organizing a number of teams from my tpvp guild (Champion Slayer [tPVP]). We have over a hundred members now so we can potentially fill the queue on our own (40 people, 8 teams), but the more teams we get in queue the more tournaments we can see pop!

We are by no means the best of the best, we are merely a group of players who enjoy tournaments and we like to see queues pop fast.

If you are interested in joining in get some friends together and queue up at 1 hour after reset. If you would like to join [tPVP] just send me a message/mail in game.

http://gw2lfg.com/ has added a two tpvp selections (free and paid), not many people have caught onto it yet, but it might be another good tool for people outside of [tPVP] and similar guilds.

Got in 3 paid queues today (Wednesday). Saw some of the big names, but also saw our STB friends, and made it to 2nd place the 3rd queue.

We got two queues to pop, but 2nd one was interrupted by patch

We requeued and got another pop, faced QT round 2. Was fun, but no KY-LOW

Then the patch happened… dun dun dun!

I’ll try to set this up on a weekly basis.

as always: We have a tournament pvp guild that is always recruiting more. Representation is optional! Join us if you are interested in tournament games.

[tPVP] is going to be doing a mass paid queue one hour after reset today (friday, dec. 14th)!

By no means are we those rank 50 people who sit in queue for hours waiting for it to pop. We are players who enjoy pvp tournaments, and don’t like long waits.
If you have a few friends feel free to queue up and join us, and if you don’t have 4 other players you are welcome to join one of our groups.

The guild is about helping players interested in tournaments find other players to fill in their groups, and we are always recruiting more, and representation is completely optional!

Overall it has been good experiences all around. I’ve only heard of a couple groups that didn’t have a good time. With more people come more groups, and we are approaching the numbers to do a large queue for paid tournaments together!

While we don’t have a dedicated VOIP for the guild players always have their personal guild’s vent, or what not. There are also free mumble servers for each server (as far as I know).

US. Started this during early US peak hours, so I doubt many (if any) of the members are Australian.

I created ‘Champion Slayer [tPVP]’ to help players who are interested in pvp tournaments find groups and the such. With any luck we can get enough people to start doing paid queues as a large group (only takes 40 people for a full paid queue!) once or twice a week.

Representation is optional, and we set your rank to whatever your preferred tpvp class is so that other players can easily identify other players they may want to fill a slot in their rosters.

The issue is when I die during an sPvP match sometimes the loading screen will spin ‘forever’. I eventually just have to alt+f4 the game and log back in.

I saw a post from a month back on this issue but dev’s closed it a month ago saying it was resolved. Although it did not happen to me a month ago it has been happening to me all day since the lost shores patch.
