I had separate tickets for the password reset and the account hacking. They were each their own ticket. Should I just not play for now and hope I can get a rollback?
After having issues logging in today, I received a password reset e-mail. Assuming it was from A-net in response to my earlier support ticket, I went ahead and changed my password. I logged in like usual and everything was fine, til I found out someone else was logged in. I went to the guildwars2 website and disconnected them, as well as turning my email authentication back on, since it had been turned off somehow. I log in to my level 80 character to find that all my money is gone, my keybinds are all screwed up, and my character’s equipment is all screwed up, including numerous bags that are now just plain gone. Looking at my bank, I don’t notice anything that changed. My collections tab is also unaffected. Other than my money, they also spent my 400 gems. There are no purchases in the Black Lion’s Gem store, so I assume they traded them for gold.
As far as I can tell, they only touched my level 80, as when I logged into him he was in Orr instead of Gendarran Fields. I don’t know what can be done about this, but I’m extremely stressed out and very upset about having this happen to my account. I hope it can be resolved shortly.
I also have a record of the IP that was logged in, however I won’t post it unless asked for it.
I posted this in a support ticket earlier, but it keeps getting marked as a duplicate, even when I update the ticket. Nobody has gotten back to me yet, and I’ve been avoiding playing in case I can get a rollback or something. I have pretty much nothing to keep me going right now, so I really hope something can be done to help me.
I’ve had the same issue as an elementalist. I had a staff of geomancing, and whenever I cast my conjure weapon abilities, it always placed the weapon in the environment, but not in my hands, and the sigil triggered. It also happened in AC explorable for me.
