Socialite Skill

I just had inspiration, I used to play a game before that had an awesome feature skill called “Socialite” where you’d work to become a renowned person amongst the community etc. For each level you’d gain perks to aid you, such as percentages of sales from NPCs, New Emotes, Costumes and Interactions with players.

What if we had such a skill where when leveled up, you become famous across Tyria, amongst NPCs of course, but also gain a variety of perks. Of course, I can’t think of many, but i’m sure ANet would think of something. I was thinking in order to level up your socialite skill, you get assigned tasks from a socialite master.

These variety of tasks could have requirements. Here is an example of a task I randomly made up: “Spread the Love”: Explore your local area and gift a rose to every woman that passes you by. (Purchase roses as a skill item from masters or farm roses from certain locations in Tyria like Divinity’s Reach gardens etc.)

I also have the idea that every certain milestone within the skill when you level, you gain a perk or some form of reward related to the skill, rewards that continue to aid you in leveling the skill. For example at level 50 you gain new fashion, that when worn, will appeal to the eyes of all who pass you by, gaining you a boost when performing your socialite tasks. Of course it then gains you cosmetic rewards to keep

Also leveling up unlocks interactions with other players such as “Embrace”, “Hug”, “Kiss”, “Dance”, “Romance”, “Flirt”, “Gift”. I also had the idea that with a high socialite skill level you and a friend can grow an in-game friendship via the skill, that after a time changes with more attention and becomes a different relationship, and the finale being “Marriage”. So you can purchase wedding packages from a socialite master and host wedding events in a personal instance where you can invite countless friends by gifting out a “Wedding Invitation” item that teleports you to the personal instance that they choose somewhere inTyria to host their wedding. It could be in Divinty’s Reach, Black Citadel or even Rata Sum.

Basically have chapels, churchs etc around Tyria in certain locations where you can host your wedding in a personal instance and hire a priest NPC to perform the ceremony for you, and have an after party at your home instance afterwards

Other interactions such as “Dance” where you join together in a dance such as tango, waltz etc, basically an emote where you sync dance together, but with a unique animation.

Hug, Kiss are basically common interactions which we’d ALL know the outcomes of xD

Embrace can be an interaction where you both accept a “Embrace” invitation and the male holds the woman in his arms or summin and can walk around with her in his arms lol until he puts her down or she climbs down.

Personally i’d also love the fake fame across Tyria with NPCs screaming “OMG IT’S [INSERT NAME HERE], ISN’T [HE/SHE] AMAZING!” you get the point lol.

But if you guys have any other ideas to add to this new skill idea, plz post (ALSO I WOULD HAVE POSTED THIS IN SUGGESTION BUT IT WOULDN’T LET ME FOR SOME REASO!)

God Armor for Gemstore

MAking sense for other races isn’t any concern to Anet by the looks of it. The Grenth hood was already released, and it is basically grenth’s head skin for your helmet ;l can’t see why the rest of the armor would matter, if anything the face skin gives off the most symbolic representation to the gods ;l

Ok so we’ve had the release of the Grenth’s Hood Skin for 500 gems, but personally I thought the release would have been better with a full set of Grenth’s armor. The hood itself looks like the model from the “Avatar of Grenth” form back on Guild Wars 1, and I don’t know about anybody else, but I thought the armor skins for the Avatar models were epic, and it would be nice to see full sets up for purchase.

These sets can also be made class specific when you think about it, or they can be for overall armor types. But here’s my suggestions. Balthazar armor for heavy armor types, Lyssa & Grenth for light armor, Melandru for medium and Dwayna could be for both Light & heavy because her armor is a form of mixture between plate and cloth, even though she’s practically a spell-caster.

I’ve attached an image of all the god models for you to see, please post your comments if you agree with me on this or disagree

Infinite Watchknight Tonic

Ok so we all went for a lot of hard work getting these infinite tonics, the first to be used in combat, and I find it totally rediculous that the transformation only lasts like 5 minutes and then you have to wait like, what? 30mins for the cooldown..this is utterly REDICULOUS. Seriously Anet, you had tonics on Guild Wars 1 that could be used in combat and they lasted for a whole HOUR! and they never even had cooldowns, why are you all of a sudden giving us these stupid cooldowns and 5minute transformations? When I earn something like this, I expect to have some fun out of it, so here is my suggestion. Remove the silly cooldown and change the transformation time to an hour.

Ok, so i’m sick of going to the dungeon waypoints or LA to recruit or find a group for a dungeon, and oh wow…nobody is recruiting. At least, this is in my server world “Underworld” and I was wondering which Europe server is popular for doing dungeons, basically which server has the most dungeon goers in it.

Guild Halls

So yeah, it’s been just over a year now since GW2 was released, and i’ve not heard even a whisper about when Guild Hall content would be released. All we’ve been told by ANet is that the new guild halls would have a lot more content than the guild halls in GW1, which were used as simple chill spots and PvP locations and eventually just gathered dust because nobody used them. So does anybody have any gossip/news or suggestions to share about guild halls?

It logs on then sais stuff like “Waiting for authentication” because it keeps logging me in with a random network thats not even mine…like I get network authentications for MY log ins on networks in darby or wales or crap like that and I just dont get why its not recognising MY own network when I sign in.

Ok so i’ve got a SERIOUS issue, yeah I most people will probably post “Who cares you got your password and email, you can still log in, why do you need the serial key?” which is many answers i’ve found on google Q/A, but I MYSELF would feel more comfortable if there was a way for my to recover my access key. It turns out that when hotmail switched to outlook, my folder with all my GW2 information in it must of been erased, either that or I accidentally erased it myself when clearing my email. But I wish to know if theres a way for my to recover it because i’m REALLY worried right now.
