Guild Wars 2

Oddly enough, I seem to be very concerned about how my characters height is when I play it. It takes me what seems to be forever to find the right height for the character I’m playing. I don’t want to be too tall, or too short. I tend to play human a lot, and I was wondering what are peoples opinions on the perfect heights for the classes, or races that you play.

Well, I’m 13 right now, nothing to brag about, but I have been enjoying him a lot. I find I’ve been using the GS/Staff a lot. I was wondering if anyone uses condition damage as a Guardian, I’ve been using condition damage on my weapon, and a few other things, and it’s kinds nice. Opinions?

Just making a small joke was all it was, lol. Don’t read into it too much.

Well, I’ve played a lot of different classes, but I’m really looking forward to starting guardian tonight. I usually play a thief, who could die from someone sneezing on me, so I think it will be a nice change of pace to be able to take a little more damage.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice as to what are some good weapons to get familiar with for Guardians, and if everyone enjoys them, that plays them

Has anyone else noticed that noone really gives a kitten, for any other player then themselves?

In other mmo’s that I’ve played it required parties, to take down bosses, or gain xp with each other, and in that process, you’d end up making friends, and having awesome conversations, and just enjoying everyones company.

It seems like now, we have everyone doing their own thing, occassionally running to an event spot to fight a giant monster together, and then going their seperate way, not really even caring about the other players they just “teamed” with.

I’m one of those guys you’ll find running up to you randomly to just say Hi, and see if you want to talk, but usually people don’t even care to respond. It’s a lot easier to have people come together and actually care about each other when were all working towards a goal together, but I guess I just dont really see that goal.

Anyone who wants to SPVP can whenever they want, and do their own thing there, but I almost feel a sense of hopelessness when I go around getting levels because I don’t really know why I’m doing it. Sure it can be fun to explore, but other times it just sinks in, that I really don’t know why I’m even doing it.

I miss the old days when you had to spend an hour to get a raid group together and then eventually go do it, and feel a great sense of achievment with everyone you got to know in that time.

Anyways, I guess I’m just venting. Guild Wars 2 is a solid game, but I just don’t get the feeling I wish I got.

I’m well aware that there is a topic like this in the SPVP Forum, but I believe the answers may be different when it comes to WVWVW, and I was wondering what peoples opinions were.

What are your favorite maps to play on?

I love spvp. I know some people may think some classes are overpowered, but I really don’t mind too much. In sPVP I play a Ranger and I absolutly love it. I also love the maps, and got around to thinking, I know there ar’nt many maps atm, but I was thinking how cool it would be to get new ones every once and awhile.

I can’t wait to see what anet has in store. How cool would it be(and I know this kinda sounds dumb) for them to add random map packs every once and awhile. It makes me excited to think about what kind of maps they could make. What does everyone else think?

So, I play on ehmry bay. It’s kind of ironic how there are so many people running around, and I can still feel so lonely in the game. I’ve been playing more of the pvp, and not so much the story at all, just because I kinda wish I had someone to do it all with. A lot of times I walk up to random people and say hey, but never get any reply back :/.

Okay, so I’ve played pretty much all of the classes, and It’s getting very hard to choose a class to play. I have to admit I’m a little dissapointed with every class having so many roles to play, because I kinda felt special having a single role, (like tank, or healer.)

I don’t want people to get the wrong impression of me, I’m all for the new inovative stuff and trying new things in mmo’s.

Anyways, I guess I just really want to play an all around great class, thats plenty of fun, and will keep me busy for a long time. Something that has a lot to offer, whether it be playing the story, WVWVW, or SPVP.

I’d love for anyones opinion on what class they believe will be a great class to have fun with. Thankyou in advance for all of your opinions.

I feel like this may be somewhat of a silly question, but in any case, just something I’m curious about.

I know that you can change your colors of your armor, anytime you want, I’m just wondering if there is any way to edit your character, after it’s already created.

My personal reason being that I’m a level 33 ranger, I’m a human, and I feel like I made my character a bit short. I know, it sounds pretty stupid, but it’s just something I’d like to change, and was hoping there was a way.

So, I’m pretty much just wondering how everyone is going about spending their trait points. Everytime I get a new trait point I put it on the trait that has less points than the others, and I distribute them all equally. I’m wondering if thats a good idea, or if in the long run, it will be a waste of my time. Thanks in advance for all those who give their advice
