Ya well may be it is just a different mechanic that I have to get used to. In this game, damage = god.

I am a new player so don’t try to judge too hard on me. But is it just me or are the mobs hitting too hard in the dungeons?

I get the fact that the trinity is abolished and all and I think it is a good thing. But in approximately 15 dungeon runs I find myself struggling at trash mobs due to the fact that

1) The trash mobs attack speed are indeed quite fast and I think it is on par with the character’s normal attack speed

2) Too much hp that they eventually wears you down

3) Not enough healing or passive healing to survive the attacks unless going full support build which I think will deviate from the original profession intention

I want to seek advice since I was wondering: let say I dodge and kite some but the mobs seems like never dying and their run speed seems to be always faster. Also, anyone with support ability have to take care of themselves first and the passive supportive healing I see from other professions such as elementalists are quite trivial on me.

ex. I had around 8k hp in a dungeon and I am a warrior myself. Let say the mobs I face hit me 2k per second if they get near me (which they do since I don’t see aoe cripples much or they are ranged mobs). Given that I survived the encounter using my self healing ability and left with less than 2k hp with my healing skill on cd, I find myself unwillingly to hit the boss now since I can almost be sure the fact that one hit from the boss and it is gg for me. And I can’t get out of combat to passively heal myself.

Also another scenario: Let’s say I dodged and escaped the focus fire of the mobs, now the mobs turn to my teammates which forces my teammate to dodge, and in return I need to run back into the fray to hit the mobs (repeated process). And by the time I manage to reach the mobs the mobs turn their aggro back to me almost instantly so now i have to dodge. I know you can range and all and kite all day but then what is the point of being a warrior then since you cannot even go in and melee the mobs without dying in 2 -3 hits (mind you, even with range they still run faster than me so eventually they will catch up to me somehow)

Any constructive thoughts?
