Try downloading this program called PingPlotter. I have had your issue for months but have recently found out that a certain IP is causing my ping to go bad.
Yeah I have noticed this issue too, specifically with Hoelbrak. I’m ignoring seeing as though it loads eventually. I run the 64 bit client with amd r9 290x in fullscreen. I have also noticed that npcs walking around in Divinty and Hoelbrak float and walk in the sky and stuff.
Hello, I have been playing Gw2 for awhile now but have recently figured out why I sometimes lag out with skills blinking. After testing my connection to Guild Wars server in Texas (64.25.39.68) and at 64.25.38.157 (Found in GW2 with /ip) , along the way there is about 30% packet loss specifically here at IP 4.68.71.133. Various IP locator websites say that this IP is here in the middle of a lake in Kansas (Another said it came from Los Angeles) by ISP Level 3 Communications. The question I have now is I know the problem and want to fix it, but how can I do it? I dont want my connection going to this dumb ip in the middle of a lake. Here is also a 30 min session of my connection. I have tested this on both GW2 and GW1, with GW2 having better results but still same loss. My ISP is comcast and I am based in Pennsylvania.
