Welcome and thank you for your time,

We are Exile Corp [eX], a WvW focused guild who will also focus on S/TPVP when ladders are introduced. Are you dedicated and a PVP centric player? Then Exile Corp [eX] might be a good fit for you.

Exile Corp was founded in 1999 by Abraxus who is still with the guild to this day. We started out as a hardcore PVP centric guild and have always focused on the PVP side of things in most games we played. A few games we played recently are Age of Conan, Aion, Darkfall, Star Wars The Old Republic and Rift. Of these games, we are only active currently in Rift as a PVE Raid guild. Guild Wars 2 was a long awaited title for many of us in Exile Corp.

In Guild Wars 2, our primary focus is World vs World. Before the BWE we were approached by one of our rival guilds from Age of Conan, Futilez, who offered us a spot in their Alliance, FUBAR. The goal of this alliance is to dominate the WvW scene and this was right up Exile Corps alley. With FUBAR, we always have a strong, co-ordinated presence in WvW regardless of our own numbers.
Our secondary focus will be SPVP and TPVP. Although we are slow on this front currently, it is mostly because official TPVP with a ladder system is still in the works. Once a ladder or competative games really start, you can be sure that Exile Corp will be out there making a name for ourselves.

Due to school, university, work and the active Rift guild, our core member presence is not where we would like to see it. For this reason, we decided to start recruiting once again. We are looking for new members who love both WvW and SPVP as much as we do and want to be part of a guild that is guaranteed to leave a mark in the history of GW2. We are looking to increase our roster with 10 to 15 active players who enjoy both WvW and SPVP.

If you are interested in joining us, head over to www.Exile-Corp.com and apply!

Want to know a little bit more about us? Then we also suggest you head to our home page. To find out more about the FUBAR alliance, go to www.pevepe.net.

If you have any other questions or comments, feel free to ask me or any of our officers ingame or by PM on the forums:
Bloodthorne – Leader
Adokaum – Officer
Firzenizer – Officer

We will see you ingame or on the forums,

- Bloodthorne

Was thinking about sword skills, do you agree or not?

If you ask me, they should do the following:
Sever artery = 3 bleeds, instead of 1. (perhaps slightly shorter duration, like 6 seconds)
Gash = 100 bonus + 10 bonus damage for every bleed stack on the target (so max damage is 100+250 = 350)
Final thrust = 300 bonus + 10 for every bleed stack (550 max damage), if the target has less then 50% health, you deal an additional 10 damage for every bleed stack (additional 250 damage, total damage = 800)

The sword warrior only sees a slight damage increase early on, but the longer a fight, the stronger he gets because of bleeds stacking. This should give sword warriors good needed damage boost.
(not sure about the exact numbers though).

Other things they should add:
Hamstring should also apply bleed (1 or 2 stacks, 8 seconds duration)
Parry should interrupt (i guess stun) the opponent for 0.25 seconds. This would stop channeled skills, such as hundred blades. Perhaps also refresh endurance.

My biggest problem is still the sword adrenaline skill… Stun lock yourself for average DPS damage while target is rooted :S. I would really implement multiple “adrenaline skills” so people can pick, based on weapon, which adrenaline skill they want as the skill does have good CC. They could also give a new adrenaline skill based on your secondary weapon. For 2 swords, they could add:
“Sun and Moon Strike: Strike all targets around you twice, each attack dealing 400 bonus damage and applying 3 bleed stacks (12 seconds) with each strike. This skill can not be blocked, evaded or miss due to blindness.”

That would really make sword warriors better.

Viability of rifle/longbow warrior?

The Rifle is primarily a single target weapon (or AoE in a straight line if traited), where the longbow is mostly targeted AoE or AoE on target (4 out of 6 longbow skills deal AoE damage: 2+3+4 and adrenaline).

The Rifle shoots very slowly and thus stacking condition damage can be hard. But if you have the trait with +33% chance to bleed on crit + sigil of earth (60% chance on crit to bleed), you get a total of about 70% chance to bleed on crit.
So combined with a crit heavy armor set, it would be decent. However, critical hits affect your flat damage output more then condition damage. With 2 major burst skills, it is thus more effective to focus on power + crit.

For longbow, it is somewhat similar, but longbow has longer cooldown on their abilities in general. 3 out of 6 skills scale with condition damage (2, 3 and burst), making condition damage pretty good. Personally, im using longbow + 2 swords in WvW fully specced into condition damage and support and i run around with my longbow about 90% of the time. The targeted AoE allows you to shoot through walls and such, making 3 and burst very potent.

In a nutshell, if you go for Rifle: max power, max crit, full burst skills
Longbow: max condition damage, full support skills

Both in one build is possible, but then you’re unable to properly defend or escape.

Exile Corp is still looking for new members.

We had a slow week due to the invisibility issue, but we will be pulling our weight again by the end of this week.

We also got our Commander title now, expect map leadership from Commander Bloodthorne when hes around.
