Been playing for a week now and i’m a level 18 elementalist (asura) just looking for a guild that is active and talks alot
looking for one that is mostly PvE or sPvP (once im i’m level 80 i plan on doing alot of dungeons too)
size of the guild wont really matter as well as upgrades as long as the guild community is friendly and active.

only thing you can do now is wait, make sure everything is up to date and hope for the best
the minimum is fair, but they should have added at least other parts like….a recommended system requirements because some people might get misled and think they can FULLY enjoy the whole game with the minimum, like WvW or huge events
Is everyone that's having bad FPS, using AMD CPU and or AMD video cards?

im using both an amd cpu and gpu
GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 (512mb)
CPU: AMD Turion II N550 Dual-Core Processor (2.60 GHz)
even then i was hoping everything will run smooth, but guess i was wrong :/

Great laptop, but you do realize it starts at THREE TIMES the cost of the one he’s looking at, right?
You could also build a similar gaming desktop for a fraction of either of them…
Yeah it looks awesome. Yah its 3x the price of a same spec bulky, slugish, ugly laptop.
People buy laptops for convenience. No one likes to carry around a big heavy brick let alone a whole desktop setup.
i can see what you are trying to say and i agree, but i’m only going to be using this for gaming and such, and the mobility is if i go somewhere outta state or something, i wouldn’t mind the bulkiness actually i promote it so it can fit more and have more ventilation, i’m not going to go to a coffee shop or a park…plus, it’s not…THAT ugly…
seems a bit much to be running at 90fps? or am i wrong?

Basically i decided to just get a new setup, been needing one and just been putting it off, i’m going to start putting money aside to buy one and was just looking at some options, this web sight offers pretty kickass prices, and most of the stuff here seems legit, so check this out, make any changes if you want, help a fellow GW member out

To Alpha Dragon—-Ya i disabled reflections, shadows, all of that only thing i haven’t changed was putting it to subsampling i leave it to native since it really doesn’t change anything
To RaZaC——Nah it’s been relatively cool, except when the frames drop, my fan starts to go crazy, but even then my laptop is alright with heat, i got a fan cooler on the bottom of it
its an “HP Pavilion dv6” laptop

Thing is, that i bought the game THINKING i surpassed the minimum req. i even did a test on a website (can’t remember what the name of it was for the life of me) and said that i was set. bought it, this happens, kinda makes me sad.

Ok so i have been playing for a couple of days now, and everything seems to be a smooth 30-35 fps, i’m ok with that since i’m running on a laptop that i got like a year and a half ago, but it has crazy drops sometimes and i’m talking 5-10fps, in the middle of nowhere in instances and in citys, populated areas ect, put my settings pretty low, nothing, cleaned my computer out of any unnecessary programs, still doing crazy drops
i decided to look around the forums and people seem to be having sorta the same problem? even with better setups than me, but i just wanted to make sure if i can even look forward to some magic patch to improve my game somehow, well here are my specs
and if WvWvW will even be playable on this? if not then i can live with that
Processor- AMD Turion™ II N550 Dual-Core Processor 6.1, 2.60 GHz
Memory- (RAM) 6.00 GB
Graphics- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 (512 mb)
Gaming graphics- 3197 MB Total available graphics memory
Primary hard disk- 164GB Free (446GB Total)
Hp Pavilion dv6
if anything, any recommendations on a new pc, preferably a cheap one(like 400$-500$?, or a little higher if anything) just enough to run the game smoothly on medium
