Guild Wars 2

I can’t see anything better then the Guardian for this. I played all the classes with all the weapons and combos. I have a ranger at 57 and then ditched it for my Guardian. The best combo for weapons to me is great sword and mace/focus. When you want to switch things up scepter/torch,hammer and mace/focus is nice as well. Staff is great when trying to tag mobs but the utility is very specific so best to safe for support in dungeons IMO. I stick with the mace/focus cause it gives you and auto attack that heals, a symbol that gives regen, a one skill block and aoe dps, a bouncing blind/regen, and 3 blocks or aoe dps. All this plus the block on your heal allows to save yourself from anything you may have done while using your other weapon. Scepter has an aoe for tagging mobs and torch is good for dpsing large groups as well. Greatsword is obviously just the Guardian’s best weapon.

Your job to find your class should be (as I found out) to find the class with the most weapons you enjoy playing with that fits you. Then make sure the utility skills have what you feel you may be lacking. I know I thought I wanted more movement on the Guardian but with Retreat!, Save yourselves!, Judge’s intervention and my great sword leap I have 30secs of swift on about 45 sec cd a 1200 leap and a 600 leap. This fix my only down side for Guard. Maybe the weapons don’t fit who you are and with this kind of combat you will like a ranger with short bow more. Just play around and I suggest again look at how many weapons you REALLY enjoy on all the classes then look at utility.
