like most Worlds mine goes through the ups and downs of either crushing or being crushed. and seeing that outmanned buff can not only be demoralizing but worthless.
so i thought of a solution that makes the outmanned a bit more competitive without imbalancing the game.
first, if you are outmanned and kill an enemy Dolyak you can automatically loot 10 more supply no matter how many you are currently carrying. so up to 25 if you got looted 15 at a supply camp with the guild buff to increase it from 10. but if you kill the Dolyak first, you would be maxed out at 10.
second, only if you have the outmanned buff you can drop any supply you have anywhere you want regardless if it came from a supply camp or a Dolyak; and the enemy cannot pick it up. similiar to not being able to use the enemies siege, but any of your allies can use it as they can jump on your unmanned siege. you could drop it where you want to build siege in the open or you could use it to resupply a tower/keep and the workers there could use it for upgrades.
and of course the minute the outmanned buff goes away, so does the ability.
this would keep more people in a zone that has completely flipped to one side, instead of looking for greener pastures and it would slow down any night crew from completely flipping a map against weak competition.
just make the “barrel” icon at the top clickable to drop supply. if it was a mistake, they could just pick it up again (but at the limit of 10 of course).
i think this is a great idea and i am not crazy. My mom had me tested.
turn the reward off if the destination location is full of supply.
any maybe spreading people around on the map might help the Lagzilla
yes, i know it was a little exploitable.
but please come up with a better fix than that.
can’t get anyone to guard Dolyaks when they get absolutely nothing for doing it.
i don’t know if this idea would help people getting beat or not.
what about allowing players to drop supply at a tower/keep ect? and loot supply off dead Dolyaks?
if you could drop supply dedicated smaller groups could do runs and build up their position faster than Dolyaks that are probably getting killed before they deliver anyway.
thoughts?
