Welcome to GG, Ditsutsu!
We’re still looking for more, however please do check the requirements. We’re only recruiting people of ages 20 and above – this requirement is the one and only that we won’t change unless it’s a case of close friends & family. Even then there’s no guarantee that people that doesn’t fulfill the age requirement will be invited.
As for our WvW status, we’re still too few to make any real damage beside opening keeps/towers for the main zerg, however sometimes that does work pretty well! (see attachement). When we get closer to the 15 online/avg things will start to get a lot more goal oriented.
Fort Ranik: Our sincerest apologies to the harm caused on your keep during the past week. We’ll make sure to take it back and redecorate it once again in due time!
Welcome Azalin to the GG-crew!
Sorry for those that I’ve had to decline due to not filling the age requirement, you’re free to apply again once you fulfill said requirement.
Paigey, you’ve got an invite waiting for you when you next log in. Welcome!
Would also like to welcome Sonyc to the [GG] crew.
Hello!
After much consideration (~3 minutes), me and my gaming partners have branched off from our current NA/EU guild – Toxingamers – to our own happy little corner of Shiverpeak. That said, we still enjoy all the benefits of being part of that community (and others).
Who we are
We’re a small group of people – as in really small – that have done this whole MMORPG-thing over the past decade and a half. If you were looking at your character from an isometric view, spamming “Vendor buy bank guards”, you should fit right in.
Currently we’re leveling up alts, running the odd dungeon/fractal/world event, and a lot of WvW. What we’ve seen on Shiverpeaks WvW so far is, in a lack of better words, laughable and shockingly awful. We’re looking to fill a few gaps in this (read: show people how it’s done), while still enjoying the rest of the content available within Guild Wars 2.
What we offer
Not a single thing, just like in real life. If you haven’t learned this already then you’re in for a real surprise.
What we have
- An indefinate amount of TS3 servers. We’ve settled for two, however.
- Good sense of humour
- Care-free attitude
- Stunningly charmful accents
What we require
- Just like in real life, talking is a two way thing. Microphone is required. If you have kids, get headphones since… You-know-why.
- TS3. If you’re on, you’re on. End of.
- English comunicational skills and willingness to use it
- An age of at least 20
- Internet-hardened skin. We’re not a tea-party, nor a right-wing party. But we do like to joke about them.
- Ability to listen to the boss. From time to time we will be doing organized things, be it WvW or dungeons. If you can’t stand being told what to do without throwing a fit, you’re not what we’re looking for.
End notes
We’re only looking to fill up enough slots for a 10-man WvW-party on average per night. Once we feel that number has been reached, recruitment will be closed.
We have a bucketload of leadership experience between us, both from real life and from gaming, expect everything we do to be coordinated, effective and enjoyable.
We currently don’t see the need for a forum, you’re going to be on teamspeak anyway, but should the need arise we’ll set one up.
Feel free to PM me here on the forums or send me a mail in-game and we’ll get in touch with you.

Alternatively, you can use buy orders to artificially drive up the price – and dump your stuff when the buy order price is “right”. It is remarkably easy to do this with slow moving items. I don’t like to do this, and as a result mostly refrained from doing so. The times that I did try, however, it was a walk in the park.
It would have to be a very low-quantity trade then, otherwise it just gets outspammed.
if you don’t want people outbidding you, stop being cheap and offer a reasonable price.
It doesn’t really work like that… I’m “playing the TP” alot during a day, and the same applies for every single item out there. Take the aether keys for example, that was a really profitable item to buy and trade since it was going extremely fast.
Over the course of a day it’s gone from a goldmine to more or less useless, simply because people are able to do these +-1c bids/sales. It’s rather annoying having to ship silly amounts of items only to make a decent profit worthwhile.
So you are upset that the price of Aether Key Pieces reached an equilibrium as driven by market forces (ie supply going up while demand stays the same). Oh well?
Equilibrium my kitten. I was watching it for over 8 hours. Every 20 minutes (on the clock), someone was undercutting the market by atleast 30%, and the second after a -1c post appeared with a very large quantity of items, steadily driving the market down the toilet.
