I had the same issues before. You have to file a support ticket after the payment authorization failed show up. Arenanet support will unblock your credit card for purchase. After that, it is better to leave your ticket open for couple days in case your account got suspend by weird issue so you can follow up again.

sure. but every farther ticket will slow down the process. you should close your ticket and your wife should work with support

I keep my ticket due to it was about the purchase HOT fail issue, and I think the new copy of HOT is causing the suspension of my wife’s account.

That’s really strange, and a bit scary. MY card originally bought my GW2 and my husband’s. We’ve used each other’s cards to get gems. And most likely this weekend his card was going to buy HoT for both our accounts + 1 teen. (Other teen hasn’t decided yet if they want a “full” account or not with school starting)

I know. We have been using my credit card for so many years with arenanet ever since we brought gw2. I was surprised there were issues when I tried to buy HOT for us. There was no issues at all before for all the gem purchase for both accounts. First copy was fine and second copy was with endless purchase fail. I had to work with support for two days to get it solve in order to purchase a copy for my wife. She was excited to try the new class after her dentist treatment and end up with account suspend issue.

Both us send in a ticket actually since I purchased the product through my email and credit card then apply to her account. It is frustrating that her account is suspended suddenly.

I will really need the support help to check my wife’s account for the suspended issue. I have reply the issue to the support. I really need it to be processed faster. No one wants to have an angry wife sitting beside you.

From the beginning, there are issues from Arenanet’s purchase website and I need the support’s help to finish purchase two copy of HOT. Hard to believe as simple as purchasing an expansion needs to take two days. Both purchased are done through my credit cards and email. I had applied one of the code to her account. After one day of playing, now I am facing an angry wife since her account is suspended today.

I have already call my bank and verified that both purchase went through to Digital River Ireland Ltd. business partner of ArenaNet LLC.

I don’t mind the price. I do mind that I am able to purchase for myself but I am not able to purchase a second copy for my wife. The payment authorization fail shows up every time and the support is not responding to my ticket. It used to be one day reply from customer support.
