Problem is, we’ve all tried the clientport thing, turning off our anti virsuses, plugging directly into the modem. But were still getting disconnected.
It was almost enjoyable playing for a couple of hours today with only a few dc’s but now they’re back again.
Any word at all from the devs about the issue?
It’s silly expecting it to entirely be the players fault when players with all kinds of providers and speeds that usually have stable connections, all experience the same thing.
It’s been a week since I started playing and I’ve had this problem since that day, I’ve reached 30 now and I can’t do instances, can’t pvp, can’t do wvwvw. Constantly lose out on events and the majority of times I’ve died has been from disconnecting.
I’ve lost count of all the times I’ve lost out on an event or died because of this. I can’t see myself doing any pvp or instances as long as this problem persists. If it works for a day I’ll bekittenif anet doesn’t do some mainteanance or add some mini patch that breaks it again.
I’d really like an update on this and not one that tell me to forward ports or turn off my antivirus because it didn’t work the first time and It won’t the next.
Still got the same problem where I suddenly disconnect while the net is otherwise fine.
I’ve been having the same problems others has stated in this thread. I usually just get kicked to the character screen but sometimes it says it cant connect with the log in server either and shuts the game down.
Playing anything else or just browsing is still working.
Currently updating my graphic drivers no idea if that will help.
I’ve been getting random disconnects ever since I started playing a few days ago and I’ve tried the things you’ve listed. I have no problems with other online games.
Bet my diagnostic is going to show that I’ve missed something very important. Also apologizing for some parts of it being in broken Swedish. Hopefuly that won’t stop you from seeing if somethings wrong.
