In the current climate, it just isn’t cutting the mustard so to speak and I have found myself now playing around with traits once again. what I have come up with is

build using scepter/torch and greatsword with signet of resolve and signet of judgement and then any two shouts really..(i’ve been leaning towards save yourself and hold the line for the healing component mainly)

my stats (in optimum conditions, having curry butternut soup, master maintenance oil and max stacks of prec. sigil is.

1977 power
2065 prec
1660 tough
1667 vit
360 condi dmg and healing
63% crit dmg

Obviously to get those numbers I’m running divinity runes…what I’m wondering is, is there people out there running a similar build using maybe soldier runes for the extra condi removal on shouts? and whether they believe that to be worthwhile..
In my limited experience with the build so far, I’ve found that I’m able to kite around long enough to give my passive condition removal a chance to take affect but I do wonder how much better it would be with the soldier runes on the shouts for those “oh kitten” situations.

It often looks worse than it is..just because you have 6 different conditions on you doesn’t mean that you have 25 stacks of each.

As a melee class id much rather come up against a necro than a condition stacking thief disappearing all the time…less conditions but the stacks really get you eventually given the fact that you have to constantly pick up your target again.

I don’t have a problem with either btw. Some fights are easy and some are hard..

The Elitist Anonymous guild is a small guild that was created on the SBI server on day one of release. The guild was originally created by a bunch of friends that met largely through playing creeps in Lord of the Rings Online on the Elendilmir server. Unfortunately though the number of active members has slowly declined in recent times and we now find ourselves looking for a few more people to join the guild.

The guild has always been a small guild and we’re not really looking to lose that quality about it. We would however like to be able to have enough people on line at times to occasionally do the odd dungeon here and there. Our main focus (if we had to pick one) would be wvw. We generally go out most nights and roam as a very small force. We generally avoid the zergs and look for small skirmishes to test ourselves. We don’t run, we fight to the death. Then we release, rinse and repeat.

The existing members are all mature age and it is expected that you would fly under the radar a bit. By this I mean that we don’t get involved in the forum dramas nor laugh and jump on the corpses of our opponents. We also understand that there are other games that people wish to play and also real life commitments meaning people often have other priorities besides this game.

We place no priority on where members are from but our existing members are mainly Australian and we tend to do most of our gaming in Australian prime time through to post Australian prime time. For Aussies this basically means that we log on pretty late usually.

I typically roam around in wvw and atm the majority of people i run into are rangers and thieves. The rangers are typically all using the beastmaster, regen, bunker build. The reason there are so many out is because its so kitten good and a littel retaliation isnt going to bring them down.
From a guardian point of view, we lack mobility and are easily kited. Basically most classes are able to get away from us and reset the fight. We need people to stick around in order to kill them.
I would suggest reviewing your build and simply paying attention to when the little fist icon is up if the >400 dmg is destroying you..

Furthermore, if this is what this thread is all about, “look at me I’m awesome sauce and you all suck!” then I think that maybe the moderators should consider closing it down. I really don’t think that anything like this is in the spirit of wvw and really has no place in the forums or anywhere really…

I got tired of killing CD bads over and over so I decided to solo guild groups from SBI. Here’s one of me killing most of the [EA] guild in one go. It was probably just a lucky battle though since I don’t actually have any skill and just save the wins instead of losses. Ignore the 25 stacks and outmanned buff please, I swear I got those from farming coyotes instead of SBI for the hour before.

I mentioned in another post how some of the MAG trash talk is point and laugh material…..this is a good example as are most by this person……cherry picked video like this is pretty meaningless. like another poster suggested, if you really want the credibility and recognition you seem to crave post an uncut video from when you leave spawn for an extended time through many uncut fights….everyone has their good and bad moments…showing highlights of just your good ones and trying to say it’s typical is very comical and is only “typical” of insecure children if anything.

Wow. You’re a pretty sad individual dude. I was the guard there that rezzed my warrior friend…you’ll notice I nearly killed you while doing that too without too much effort. Probably would of had I been kitten to chase you all the way up around the corner. You sure like to run.
Anyway, here’s the facts. we had a group of 4: mesmer, guard, warrior, ranger. you started your video there while we were fighting other people. you were cherry picking. Yes you killed the warrior (maybe) he had plenty on him. His silly decision was to chase after you when the rest of us were way off around the corner in another fight and yeah you killed him. hardly farming our entire guild, picking people off otherwise pre occupied in some other skirmish…if you were so good how come you didnt kill me while i was rezzing him hmm?
btw that was filmed on his bl which was completely his colour and we were probably the only 4 from sbi in that land at the time with the outnumbered buff…
I really don’t care if you feel the need to wax your own kitten by making videos and posting them for all to see how awesome you are but do me a favour and leave us out of your exploits as we dont post about anyone or anything ever, we fight, die, release,repeat. Maybe you should do the same.
