i just noticed my wardrobe is missing the hellfire vambraces althought i have 21k AP. Could u unlock them for me? I should have got them eigther at 3k or 12k.

ok, now its 0:29. don’t know why but its is.
Yesterday i spend some hours on this one and finally claimed a 0:29. Today i log in and find my time being reduced to 0:30. The rank though didn’t change, still 25 lifetime.
As long as we are the 2nd best stealth class condi dmg cant get a boost, because u can hide urself in it and still do dmg that way.
50% nerf on PU is a start. imo going into a pvp 1v1 and relying upon being in stealth for at leat 40% of the fight is just something that should not be rewarded.
and in addition there are just some classes that cant cleanse all the possible condis a mesmer can provide. just by traiting it u get confu, torm, cripp, blind, vuln on 1 shatter. combined with chaos- storm/aura and weapon swap bleed/poison we have one of the biggest condi line-ups in game.
how to fix it? get other classes more cleans like 3 stacks on cleans instead of 2.
everything but necro mesmer ele and guard most likely wont be able to cleans it as long as zerker is the meta in pvp and condi get called “cheap”.
then u can increas the stacks applied by mesmers.
Come on guys, dont let this thread vanish into oblivion. There are even more auras comming to us with tempest and the shouts. I don’t like the idea of giving just frost aura to allies by pressing a shout with 20+ sec CD.
What they should of done is cap auras duration to 10 sec and every time you reapply an aura it will add its time to what you have on you up to 10 sec.

It was inconsistent for forst aura to stack where others didn’t. But why remove another playstyle with aura stacking when there is might, heal and invis stacking everywhere else? I see that the way frostaura used to work was brocken; 30 sec of frost aura combined with 90% uptime of protection and ~ 120% duration of swiftness and fury were to strong. Sadly now 3 sec frost aura on blast are just not worth it. Cap it to 10-12 sec and everything is fine.
Stacking auras would also benefit the mesmers chaos armor, which gives them a viable combofield.
Arenanet talked the last days a lot about getting away from the ’zerker meta. How to do it? Give the ppl some good options to combo other than migth, heal, blindness.
Maybe in the future you could add a new “earth field” exclusive to 1-2 specifications with blast/leap combo giving magnet aura, projectile/whirl combo giving torment, but thats something to be considered in an exclusive thread i guess.
Let me know what you think about my concern with more use of other combofields and the general idea of stacking and capping auras.
pls dont put away the confision away from Confusing Enchantments. just increase the stack to 3.

Skills that would be awesome on a shield, any of the dot points.
4 (Phantasmal)
- Summons a phantasm to create a feedback dome around itself, reflecting projectiles. (cd 25s)
- Summons a phantasm which creates shock waves that cripple up to 5 enemies. (AoE, Blast finisher). (cd 20s)
5 (Anything)
- Absorb projectiles and reflect them as confusing bolts. (3s, free to move while doing so). (cd kitten
- Throw your shield into your foe and launch them. (Yes, we all crave for a launch ability for decap potential). (cd 40s)
- Blast foes around you, inflicting confusion to foes and gaining regeneration and protection. (Combo finisher blast, boon duration = 5s, confusion duration = 4s). (cd 40s)
- Block attacks. Foes are confused when blocked, 1 stack for 3s.
Ideal trait: reduces recharge on shield skills by 20% and:
- Gain 5s Retaliation on use of a shield skill
- Heal yourself on use of a shield skill(1000?)
- Apply protection to yourself and allies on use.
- Steal boons from your opponent.
Any of these would invent the on-point hybrid mesmer, and provide resistance against the gay ranger meta.
To skill 4: I really like the idea with the feedback phantasm, but i don’t see them mixing a utilitie-trait group (glamour) in a weapon skill.
To skill 5: Im pretty sure we all saw skill 5 already. In the trailer the mesmer uses a ground target aoe skill, just like chaosstorm.
And we know about the new mechanic that slows all abilities.
Combined with visual effect and look of the skill (a clock) there is no doubt for me that this skill will apply just that. Maybe with a daze at the end, noticing that there are 2 explosions: #1 when the clock hands connect and #2 a sec after that.
