I’m pretty sure the Whispers Mantle preview has been bugged since launch, much like the Commando’s Helm. But, in the latest patch the Commando’s Helm preview was fixed, along with the bugged PvP skin of it. Why wasn’t the mantle fixed too?

Can anyone please reply with a pic of their character wearing the mantle (and not the hood that would cover it up)?

I really want that dredge shield for my engi… idc how plain and “ugly” it is lol.

I think the Dark Moon Shield also hasn’t been discovered yet.

And in the reverse, why are there some PvE skins that aren’t available in the PvP locker?

For example the Masquerade/Tribal light armor set, Dark Moon Shield, and the Summit Targe/Call of the Commissar shield skin (which is what I personally want).

I know sites like guildhead and GW2DB have stats and preview codes for the PvE version of the Summit Targe, which is named the Call of the Commissar. I assume they datamined this information, meaning it never has to be implemented into the game. I wonder if these sPvP skins will ever be implemented into PvE.

I read somewhere on the forums that any piece of equipment worn on an NPC can be worn by the player. So, if I see a dredge with the Summit Targe, should I expect to be able to eventually wield one as well?

I have read several threads related to this topic, but I also wanted to know if you could get these sPvP locker skins in sPvP, or if their preview-able locker slots are just bugged and will always be empty. If I can’t get the targe in PvE I might as well have the dream set in sPvP.

I will probably only get speculations for “answers,” but an Anet response would be nice. If nothing can be answered, are there any suggestions for an Engineer shield? After previewing that dredge shield every other shield just looks inappropriate. [&AgGkSwAA] Call of the Commissar
